Thunderbird Club

We are having the hottest stretch in Autumn for 20 years. I guess we are balancing your weather!

Today is 35c now, on the way to 38c at my place. My little efforts cleaning up out side are really a struggle. I do 30 - 60 mins then come inside to the A/C and some cold water and have a bludge for an hour or more… then back outside.

38c is 100.4 f, and it isn’t summer anymore. My footy team was up in Brisbane last night. According to the commentators at the start of the second half the temp has dropped a bit but humidity has risen to 82%. My team faded in the last 10 minutes worst luck, but I would have faded just sitting in the grandstand.

It's been wicked hot out here too, very unusual, it's usually starting to cool down a little at this time of year. My wife heard something on the radio today that due to the jet stream we might not have a winter this year, that would be very nice but I'll believe it when I see it.

What does the hive think, black clover tuners or black y tuners?

Wow, that's a gorgeous bass! Is it expensive? Can anyone tell me the model number? I'd like to hear how it sounds.
I paid $250 including the original case. I think they were meant to be cheap, starter basses. I was surprised how nice the pickups sound. That one is supposedly a National but several brands likely made in the same Japanese factory.

I would have skipped the game and kept heading north to Noosa.

upper 90’s here and way humid… miserable…miss CA weather…

A Brooklyn band from that time.
And that sounds like a cool show.

It was, I think Blue Oyster Cult had had their 'The Reaper' right about that time, it was the first laser show I ever saw. The J Geils band were always good. Dictators I don't remember that well and BOA not at all, I wonder if they opened and we missed them. I would think that I'd remember Jim Dandy at least.
