Just like LA.
I didn't know that, didn't they name smog after smoke/fog in LA during the 60's?

Playing on a bigger stage tonight, so there’s room for the VP.

The one in your avatar dear.
Maybe add this to the set list with your new band.
"It's a funky situation"
More formally called a Thunderbird headstock.there’s a club??
We are having the hottest stretch in Autumn for 20 years. I guess we are balancing your weather!
Today is 35c now, on the way to 38c at my place. My little efforts cleaning up out side are really a struggle. I do 30 - 60 mins then come inside to the A/C and some cold water and have a bludge for an hour or more… then back outside.
38c is 100.4 f, and it isn’t summer anymore. My footy team was up in Brisbane last night. According to the commentators at the start of the second half the temp has dropped a bit but humidity has risen to 82%. My team faded in the last 10 minutes worst luck, but I would have faded just sitting in the grandstand.
Don't care, lol.French girls everywhere hate you now.
Either the Early Bird or Greco, and a bird that matches whichever dress you wear!I'm about 8 weeks out from my first show back after the covid break....... What basses to bring?!
I like the Y tuners but maybe that’s just meWhat does the hive think, black clover tuners or black y tuners?

I paid $250 including the original case. I think they were meant to be cheap, starter basses. I was surprised how nice the pickups sound. That one is supposedly a National but several brands likely made in the same Japanese factory.Wow, that's a gorgeous bass! Is it expensive? Can anyone tell me the model number? I'd like to hear how it sounds.
Looks like a 70s Teisco, likely a short-scale. Not so special, except as the mark of an era.

I would have skipped the game and kept heading north to Noosa. We are having the hottest stretch in Autumn for 20 years. I guess we are balancing your weather!

Pull a Blues Brothers and cuff the case to someone’s wrist.Go big or go home. The '64, of course! That thing needs to have a gig and you need to experience what it does at a gig. Unless there are concerns about it still being your bass after the show. Safety first!
I saw them in 1977 at a big outside concert in upstate NY with the J Geils band, Black Oak Arkansas, and Blue Oyster Cult, I had never heard of them prior to that.
upper 90’s here and way humid… miserable…miss CA weather…It's been wicked hot out here too, very unusual, it's usually starting to cool down a little at this time of year. My wife heard something on the radio today that due to the jet stream we might not have a winter this year, that would be very nice but I'll believe it when I see it.

A Brooklyn band from that time.
And that sounds like a cool show.
