Thunderbird Club

It was, I think Blue Oyster Cult had had their 'The Reaper' right about that time, it was the first laser show I ever saw. The J Geils band were always good. Dictators I don't remember that well and BOA not at all, I wonder if they opened and we missed them. I would think that I'd remember Jim Dandy at least.
Agree. Don't know how you could not remember Jim Dandy. Kind of a David Lee Roth (with a crazy voice) before VH.

told you I needed help!….other than Rexxrocket and Icefly….

I have the feeling that I would like Buenos Aires a bit too much, leaving Paris was difficult enough.

AFA St. Patty vs Paddy, my guess is that most people 'celebrating', i.e. drinking green Buds, neither know nor care about the difference. I see signs spelled both ways-sometimes next to each other.o_O
(Patty is short for Patricia here too)
The corned beef and cabbage is the traditional Americanised version. Lamb/mutton ain't big here.

IMO, lamb should be big here, I love it, cattle country or not. Strangely enough a lot of sheep are raised here (Utah), but you buy it at the grocery stores, and it's from New Zealand

We do eat a lot of lamb here. It used to be a cheap meat but no longer. It’s getting pretty expensive here. Australia and NZ are the two largest exporters of ‘sheep meat’ in the world. In 2021 Australia exported > 260,000kgs of sheepmeat of which >70,000kgs went to the USA.
Edit: correction not kgs, tonnes.
70,606 tonnes of ‘sheepmeat’ from Australia to the USA in 2021.

Aussie lamb exports to USA hit record high

I can recommend Lamb Shanks. Beautiful tender meat eaten off the bone. Needs to be slow cooked or braised. The shank is the meat below the knee, like our ‘calf’ muscle.

Edit: I often have a Guinness or a nice red wine with lamb shanks. One of your porters would work well imo

I have a couple of these. Not cheap, but maybe the best protection on the market from the gorillas that work in the airline baggage areas. They will custom make to your spec. I’m sure TSA would allow them as checked baggage but doubt it meets the carry on requirements.
Custom Flight Case for any Bass Guitar

Here’s one of mine, fits a bass with a relatively unique shape…

My daughter has been in Paris all week. I only dream of being there. She said it was wild there with protests over raising the retirement age to 64 and burning trash in the streets. But she still had a blast.

Paris is awesome!
But yeah, it's a hot mess there right now.
I'd live there in a heartbeat.

It was on the menu at Cafe 909 this past Friday, Frank loved it!
