As you know down here in the south we have a saying. “Bless your heart”
And it doesn’t mean what the words say.

I think this sign that hangs in my office says what I think of Gibson and their recovery team.

So Gibson... Bless your heart. :)

Someone bought for me that they thought sounded like something I would say. It says, "Did you have a bowl of stupid for breakfast?"
I have laying on my desk and people know it's their and when I reach of it they start laughing and know my thinking. All in good fun since I don't work with morons--and insulting them would be useless and not grasped anyway.

I need to get my son to make some. He makes killer rice of all kinds. He worked in a Mexican Restaurant in Flag when he was in college and learned from a master. Sadly, Cafe Ole’ is closed.

Pretty sure we ate at that restaurant while Devon was at NAU. I KNOW we ate at Cracker Barrel at least once while there. I can eat breakfast food at any time of day so I love places that serve it all day.

It means whatever you need it to mean - at times including the literal meaning, which was sll it meant when I was younger.

I had a Kawasaki Z-1 years ago, supposedly started the superbike era. It was pretty fast.

When I was a late tween, I was in my fave hobby shop and looking at motorcycle kits. I chose a Kawasaki H2 triple 750 (the real one had just come out). A guy noticed what I was buying, and asked if I'd like a ride on the real thing. Wow! "Sure!" I said.

I was wearing shorts that day, and as I sat on the back, I felt like my right leg was on fire. My calf was against the upswept exhaust pipe! I guess they weren't really meant to carry a passenger. Male or female. He dropped me off at home, and by then I had a nasty burn. But that bike ride was too cool.

My best buddy in 12th grade got a motorcycle from someone, but I can't remember why, or what make. I wanna say Kawasaki or Honda. Just an average street bike, maybe 500-600cc and dual exhaust. Wouldn't turn over. My buddy gave it to me the day I was leaving SoCal for Oregon. I put it in the U-Haul truck, and said thanks. I figured it would be a good starter bike to learn on.

Got to Oregon, and put it in the garage. One day, I walked it to the nearest independent bike shop. Told them I just got it, and it won't start. No idea what the issue is.

I must've had the word "Sucker" on my forehead or something. The next day he called and told me that it would need too much work to get running again. Probably exceed the worth of the bike. But he never really explained what the problem was. Only that I should get rid of it. He offered to take it off my hands - for free. Said he could use the parts. I knew zilch about motorcycles, and believed this guy, because why not? I had no title either. So I let him have it, since I didn't have hardly any money. I should've taken it back home and put it in the garage. Mom was relieved that I got rid of it.

The list is hard to find but there was one at 180 El Camino Real in South San Francisco.

I just looked up that address, and yes, that’s kinda where I thought. I even think it was the place that, when I was like 3-4 yrs old, I took something, (technically, stole something) and when we got out to the car, or maybe even back home, my mom asked me if I took it from the store, which I said yes. So we went back and she made me apologize for taking it. Lesson learned, I hated that “I’m in trouble” feeling.

Had a co-worker named Louise, some years back, and if you did a favor for her - she'd say "bless your heart". Or she might be talking about somebody else, and throw in a "bless her heart" following the name. So a gal pal of mine began referring to her as "Louise, bless her heart" rather than just Louise. Like "I had lunch today with Louise, bless her heart". We said it so often, it became second nature, when talking about her.

Well one day Louise was at my desk, and the gal pal phoned me, looking for Louise. Without thinking, I said "She's right here, bless her heart". I don't think Louise felt blessed. My gal pal almost dropped the phone, she was giggling so hard.
