Thunderbird Club

The thunderbird classic pro has more of a cut by the neck. This is for better access to higher frets. That's about the only difference that I've noticed thus far. I just bought my classic pro yesterday. I'm so in love with it, I nearly drilled a wider "input jack" on her rear if you catch my drift. I don't think you'll find anyone complaining about the T-bird classic pro or the pro iv. I really wanted to try the pro iv but they only had the classic, which is the one I wanted anyway. The pro iv has active epiphone U.S.A pickups and 4 tone knobs 7 ply neck. I bet you can really get more tones out of her than the Gibson or classic but the classic is the closest thing to the Gibson in every way. Gibson U.S.A pickups 9 ply neck ect...

Work has been keeping me busy guys............... Jay F, shall I add you to the club?

Hey Hillerup , I knew someone would mention the cars . The entrance was behind us so we parked our cars behind the stage to keep people from watching and not entering , we were facing the lake so lots of people arrived by boat . I pulled the equipment trailer to the gig so our drummer was able to come by boat. That was our second gig this summer on the lake , the first was a music festival with a stage , light and sound company hired . Cool as everything looking across the lake at 100's of people on boats rocking out. Kid Rock , thats funny , If we only had chicks dancing in cages on the stage .

This video had a few of my favorite things all rolled into one awesomely bad video clip(audio and pixalation issues).

First, Howard Stern
Second, Howard singing, Stairway to Heaven
Third, Some eye candy
...and fourth, the bassist has a TBird!

My God that was bad! Really really bad!!!

If he could sing, he could actually make a good Joey Ramone impersonation. :)

Joey was a show favorite, too.

Joey was way cool..

Saw The Ramones 4 times at different stages of their line-up incl the original line-up with Tommy, and a couple of times with Marky on drums...

First time was right about the release of Leave Home (1977 I think). Went to see them at a club in Copenhagen with my dad - they absolutely tore the roof off - And here comes the best part; the day after the show my mom bumped into them on the high street and told them I went to the show, and came home with their autographs! :)

Still have them somewhere... :)

Damn, that must've been great! I saw the New York Dolls when they were big but never the Ramones.

Wow! That is one band I would really have loved to see, as well as The Heartbreakers...

The Dolls and The Heartbreakers were a huge inspiration for me back in the day.

Went to a Johnny Thunders show once, but unfortunately him and his band never showed up to the venue - Such a shame he was so unreliable due to his addiction. :(

However I got to see the David Johansen group together with Syl Sylvain back then - even got to hang out with them for a while after the show, while the road crew was taking their gear down - and I got autographs as well! :)

NYC was really happening in the seventies!

I would have LOVED to see the Dolls back in their full "glory" in the 70's, but I was a little too young for that. I saw Johnny Thunders back in the 80's and he was a bit of a mess, but it was a fun show! I've always loved his guitar playing style. Sylvain was supposed to be on the tour with Thunders but he didn't last very long on the tour.
