Frank and I had a little Easter cheer after getting home from dinner.

I want in on that party.

I mentioned this happened some weeks back. I foolishly hadn’t checked the strap pins on my beloved ‘15 for some time. The one at the heel of the neck loosened and led to a chip in the finish. I thought about having it fixed, but won’t worry about it. For now. Anyway, I bought felt washers and am installing them under the pins on every bass that doesn’t already have them. And I’ll make sure to check them when I give them their annual clean and polish.

Keep your strap pins snug and Play It Loud!
Hate to hear that. I've had them come loose, but never out or cause a drop--just some scary moments to make me check with my fingers almost every time I put a strap on.

how come? what’s the attraction? Think I’m well aware of what you want from a rig but would like to hear your thoughts on the 400+ and why? saw one about a month ago selling for 2k…curious how shallow the chassis is…

It's a massive 12 tube pig Chuck.
I've absolutely no business having such a thing.
Total tone monster though.

The attraction is what it sounds like.
Kinda like old school tube stereo gear.

Besides, i'm soft. Just don't play like i used to.
