My 66 Tbird IV
LOL - Stings demise was a high point in the original movie. Vlad Harkonnens pus covered face and projectile spit was a bit much to watch. I wish he’d got the jabber earlier on.Special effects were so much better than the first take at the book. I don't recall much deviation from the book plot. On the other hand, nothing beats someone killing off Sting![]()
My daughter and son-in-law were going to name their second Alia if it was a girl.LOL - Stings demise was a high point in the original movie. Vlad Harkonnens pus covered face and projectile spit was a bit much to watch. I wish he’d got the jabber earlier on.
Perfect! My daughter and son-in-law were going to name their second Alia if it was a girl.
So long as one of the brothers and sisters here got them, all is right in the world.I still maintain it wasn't me! He wanted $100, I offered $90 which he accepted. He reduced the 2nd pair to $90, then they were gone. My story and I'm sticking it!

Well, there was a particularly cute brunette I met in a pub we frequented. No worries. She was 18.We need to know the ages of these broads that were studied..... Then again, maybe we don't.
I believe him. Who would admit to something like that unless they really did lt?Pics or it didn't happen.
Good choice going with the heavy iron. Please try and post a few clips! My ‘95 Thunderbird is going outside to play today. We have an afternoon gig and a little brewery in South San Francisco (for those of you not from ‘round these parts, it a different city, not the south part of San Francisco). I was considering using my Orange AD200 and a couple of ported cabs, but ultimately, since my ‘73 SVT and 810 are at my rehearsal space that is literally “across the street” from the brewery, I decided to go the easy route and go with Ampeg. I figure I can’t lose. Combined with my Lollar equipped ‘95 Thunderbird, there should be more than enough there to handle keeping up with the drummer and Rockerverb 50 full stack that the guitarist is using.
I think this is actually my very first outdoor gig. There can still be “firsts” even after 38 years of playing in bands….
Sounds great!
I kind of liked playing outside. There are drawbacks the bigger the coverage area, but you almost always have one constant--no weird room acoustics to work with, fit into or fight.
Excellent selections!
So what’s your opinion on the first half of the Dune remake released a couple years ago? I think the second half will be released this fall, looking forward to seeing how well they wrap it up.

I know you didn't ask me, but I thought the latest Dune movie was excellent.Excellent selections!

ACC 360 stacks are wonderful outside.Yup, I've always liked the acoustics of bass the best outdoors, that's where you can really hear how your stuff sounds with no accented or dead notes, no echos, etc. SVT's sound great outdoors, in fact they sound better to me outdoors than in most rooms
You must tell us how that went. That is a dream bass through a dream rig. Outside? I hope you turned that sumbtch up...My ‘95 Thunderbird is going outside to play today. Can I borrow yours? If we play the Queens Night Market again this year, I'll want my 410. Maybe I can get away with the B-15. But my GK MB150/112 combo was just too underpowered for that.ACC 360 stacks are wonderful outside.
Such a thought did cross my mind! Hey, sometimes, bad is bad...
That goes for the bass too.
