Thunderbird Club

I stopped reading when Marshall said he studied a broad in Scotland when he was 19. I was afraid of where that was going....now we are talking butts which confirms my fears. I'll be back when it's safe.:smug:
Studying a broad in Scotland takes a bit of doing. Having been there right after working in Norway was an exercise in recalibration.

:woot: I own these things!

They can be itchy!
You know what isn't itchy??

I just noticed that Tim is wearing Adidas SL72s. One of the first modern running shoes. I went through several pairs in my former life as a distance runner.

Interesting Marshall... when I was in High School I ran Cross-Country. I loved the solitude of running alone. It later evolved into being a road cyclist/bike racer. I did all disciplines but excelled in road-races (especially a solo breakaway) and individual time-trials. (suffer-fest) I imagine you know of this classic film - I toyed with writing a cycling-centric version of this classic British film. For me it's about the joys of freedom.

Yep.

I’d still be running but for basically bone on bone knee joints. 100 + miles a week in seventies shoes did that. It really wasn’t until the mid-nineties that shoe companies figured out how to make distance running shoes that were light and protected the lower extremity joints.

The most wonderful news I’ve had in months! Miss you bro.

You know how to reach me if I can help with an airport pickup in L.A./OC. LAX, Burbank, Long Beach, John Wayne, etc. You know you’re welcome to stay at either house. Would really like to get @Nocturnal over from AZ. And @D.M.N. to come up too. Bring @BklynKen and @Count Bassie and all our other east coast brethren with you. Party at Chucky’s place! Or Dave’s farm!

And @KaraQ absolutely needs to come.

Everyone on here needs to come!

I’m looking into it!

Tele- Bird? Of course!

I stared at that pic for ages but didn’t put my finger on what was different
I built one. Mine currently has a baritone neck on it, but I will probably put a guitar neck on it. I have a neck in the parts bin, but as always, the project pile is endless.
