I think it’s time to stop drinking for the day.
Likewise, I use a Kobo/Rakuten for books now. Particularly useful for reference books as everything is then searchable. Everything public domain is available, but not everything that is older and less popular. Still, hard to find those in hard copy too.
A bit like Spotify. that way. I fail to understand why I can't get Sex Gorilla by National Velvet on Spotify.
And to save everyone potentially NSFW search results
From a stage amp perspective, even an indoor arena and outdoors are the same.It was for arenas. Funny thing is that it is rated at 200 watts. You can run four powered 361 Power Plus cabinets from a single 360 preamp head. I can't even begin to imagine what that might be like on stage, let alone what it would do to innards in the audience.
Yikes! Books and movies are huge for me. Praying you find relief soon! No, I've not bought (or read) any actual paper books in years - maybe 15-20?
I find it difficult to impossible to sit and focus on a single task like that. Same reason I don't go to movies often or work at a desk any more.
*Hopefully*, that will be either resolved, it at least improved upon in the soon-ish future
I miss reading books![]()
Well maybe next time, the offer is always open to club members.I wish. Driver’s on a tight schedule to be back North by tomorrow afternoon.
I’ll take a floor cleaner please. My garage floor really needs some work.Think bigger. Electric pickup trucks for $800. Same for ride on floor cleaner. Flip them with a bit of cleaning for $5k each.

Tonight I worked on three songs with very different bass sounds- Dreaming (Blondie), The Beautiful Reverse (Grady Milligan), and White Rabbit (Airplane). I tried the Greco and the CP. Neither bass sounded right no matter what I did.
Clearly my ears need plekking.
At least you now know you aren’t crazy.Found the problem a couple of days later. I had not used my amp stand (two fat Tom Clancy paperbacks under the front of the Rumbles). At least where the amps sit in my practice room, being flat on the carpeted floor is a recipe for sonic disaster. Or at least disappointment.

No.., your ears are correct... a basses pu's/pu location will determine how it sounds. None of those songs were played on a T-bird.
But most times when I play them, I get the sound I want, a sound not identical to a record or concert, but one that works.

You had me at ride on floor cleaner. It would be my daily driver, inside and outside!Think bigger. Electric pickup trucks for $800. Same for ride on floor cleaner. Flip them with a bit of cleaning for $5k each.

I heard a very trustworthy guy say he once saw a 30 page document from the Feds.......for how to choose a hammer. Not Space Shuttle hammer. Just a hammer. I'm hoping it was a money-saving ploy to wear the person down and they just give up on thinking they needed a new hammer. I'm just glad the smart people are looking out for us.
