Neil had Mort. And was way ahead of us.

:eek:Wow! If you’re an outdoorsy person and like to hike in the woods and swim in the ocean you better know your hazardous species and what to do if encountering them.:help:
Sounds like there’s a lot of danger down under, but still a place I’d love to visit.

In the US we have a lot of aggressive land animals (Bears, Alligators, Crocodiles, Mountain Lions, Badgers, Wolverines, Wolves, Wild Boar and ex Wives) but not a lot poisonous stuff other than rattlesnakes, water moccasins a couple of spiders and divorce attorneys. Seems like weather events here - Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Earthquakes, Flash Floods, Mud Slides, Avalanches, Wild Fires, Volcanoes and Blizzards are our biggest nature related killers.
The animals don't concern me nearly as much as the selfish/narcissistic people.

Tonight I worked on three songs with very different bass sounds- Dreaming (Blondie), The Beautiful Reverse (Grady Milligan), and White Rabbit (Airplane). I tried the Greco and the CP. Neither bass sounded right no matter what I did.
Clearly my ears need plekking.

No.., your ears are correct... a basses pu's/pu location will determine how it sounds. None of those songs were played on a T-bird.

A friend owns a 'ground-up' restored Morris Minor Mini woody wagon in this colour - I would love to have one of these. Pics not his, but similar.

He needs a Ute to go with it

Yes, we had offical Ute versions of BMC cars, Austin’s and Morris’s etc. I assume the UK and other places did as well.

Here the big thing was to replace the Morris engine and gearbox with Datsun 1200 (Sunny) units. Evidently the Datsun engine was based off a Morris (Austin?) engine and was an ‘easy’ fit. Though now days I assume the purists would turn up their noses and restore them back to stock

What is a Ute?
