Thunderbird Club

That sux.
Yes. We had regulars who would come to the place whenever we were booked. One other problem there: the owner liked to sit at the closest seat to the band then bit.., er, complain we were too loud while people in the middle and rear of the room were complaining they couldn't hear us.:banghead:
Had a similar situation Friday night. People at the first table saying "turn down"; people at the bar ~30 feet away saying they couldn't hear us.

I’m shocked at how many places I go that have live dinner music with the band out near the tables and the about as far away from the bar as you can get it. Should be the other way around.

People at the bar usually don’t mind talking a little closer to each other if needed to overcome the volume of the band, but people at the dinner table absolutely hate having to yell across the table to be heard.

Maybe the owner could find a way to get the band nearer the bar. I wonder, does the restaurant with all of its staffing and overhead make more money than the bar that usually has substantially less staffing and overhead? After all operating costs are considered, where’s the restaurants primary source of profit?

Hey, is it Thunderbird Sedan Saturday..

I like car-show exotic finishes (at car shows) but would never want such for a daily driver. Ones I see on the street like that are usually pimped out.
I hear ya. I’ve never been a big fan of the big sedans. I’m more a muscle car/sports car/truck fan. Flash finishes on a sports car or muscle car can be very cool as a daily driver, not so much on a sedan for me, and never on a truck.
The stock paint color on my 911 is a blue/violet shift color depending on the angle of the light. Love that color…
Full overhead bright sun…

Ah, but that would make sense. Also, most of the places we play don't have anything even vaguely resembling a stage, just a corner of the room used for Karaoke, duos, bands, little meetings, whatever. The place we played Friday night has been saying they're gonna build a stage for about 4 years.
Nope.

Nope.

Did someone say ridiculously small "stage"? (bass-player on the narrow floor adjacent to the bar...)
