Thunderbird Club

That looks super clean Will!
There was a lot of body work done in 1999. Then I blew it up (again). Enthusiasm and 600cc sportbike habits don't translate to Chevy V8 too well. This is the con-rod that let go. There were bits of ring embedded in the adjacent piston top. The former piston that this was attached to was aluminum sand in what was left of the oil pan. Which had several deformations and holes in it. The car has lived the life Camaros were intended to live.

The motor sat in it sat in a crate in my driveway for four or five years. Then it got mostly put in place, but a couple of bolts gave me a hard time and I ran out of time to work on it. A few more attempts with not enough time and I ran out of patience. That was more than 15 years ago.

The kid is out of the house and I kinda have disposable income. It will be disposed all right. The motor will have a rev limiter to keep the car from living the life of a Camaro in the future.

Americans dream that their children can one day grow up to be President. But in Canada, we don't dream of our children growing up to become Prime Minister. Because we hope for better for our children.

;)

sad, but true

Rare white Epi VP at GC for the current killer price:

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

So what's going on here? That's now a handful of VP's selling for under $400. All used... so is this someone who bought it (their 1st T-bird) and then decided it wasn't for them? You have to wonder as they list for twice that and more.

No entiendo. Hops are a preservative, not a flavor! Plus, already ordered my ingredients so they would be available when I return home. Hoping it is aged enough by the GTG…it’ll be close.

At least not a flavor I care for!
