Proof of existence. This is the car that has to visit Chucky and his neighborhood when it is back to being self propelled.

The towel on its nose is for pushing it without doing too much damage. I got the motor in about 10 years ago or maybe 15. Then ran out of time and ran out of patience. It is off to a shop to get way too much money spent on it.

I won't look too different when it is functional again, but it will be very different underneath. I am not looking forward to figuring out how much the wish list will have to get pared down to actually pay for the work.

@BklynKen gifted me this Steel Leather.
It’s not a compressor at all, quite the opposite, but, I’ve found a setting where it acts like one. It’s a very cool little piece of kit, never thought I’d go down the pedal rabbit hole.

Yeah, it is an expander - an anti-compressor. Increase the attack phase. It looks interesting and if I ever see a used one at my local L&M, I would buy it just to play around with.

Americans dream that their children can one day grow up to be President. But in Canada, we don't dream of our children growing up to become Prime Minister. Because we hope for better for our children.

It's the only way to go. If you're going to have a dog, treat them like kings and queens while you can.

*On top of Grady's heart and general waining health for a 15 yr old lab, we found out last week his cancer has come back. Needless to say, it was a sucky thing to hear again. He can't have surgery and there's not anything we can really do other than to make sure he's comfortable. (It's not a painful cancer, fortunately--Mastcell tumor). I heard of some "off label" approaches for humans (and for dogs), months back and gave a bunch of information to the vet. I suggested that this may not work, but if won't hurt why not try? She was on board and we'll see if it helps slow anything. It's worth a shot.

So we are both lazy. I don’t play guitar often enough. I used to play my Aria acoustic all the time. Until about ten years ago when I returned to my first love, bass.

My 45 year old Aria is such a great guitar. I need to stop neglecting it. I’ll order a new set of SITs for it (I’ve used them for years on it, ever since Nashville Straights become unavailable).
Where is your Thunderbird? You need to Get an Epi iV and a small Rumble (the 25 is fine to keep at your daughter’s and son in law’s place).

The freakin’ music store a couple blocks down the street stopped stocking basses.
