My favorite cheapie beer is Carling Black Label. The stuff is great but will give you the trots if you partake too much.Stop. That's just getting nasty. That wasn't even beer. Remnants of kidney filtered Miller Lite.
It’s beautiful Geoff.I’m the 2nd or maybe 3rd owner. Which is pretty remarkable I think. It did stage time with the previous guy.
Ok V. You’re really rubbing it in now. When that Thunderbird hits Hollister, you’ll need a guard for it. I’m available and will work cheap.Grrr............. Happy Thunderbird Thursday!

Of course he can be distracted with a ride in an AMX.It'll be under Frank's care! Otherwise, I have to say - WoW, what great bass!

Just got done watching an old 1930’s movie that had some great vintage steam engine train scenes in it. Here’s an excerpt of some of the train footage…
The movie is a fun light hearted B movie watch, great with some popcorn on a Friday night. Enjoy
You play at some cool places.
that’s such a cool bar…![]()
I love performing live - every gig is special to me.I was thinking for when you build me one. All chrome. And we’ll have Wilkins finish it in Pelham Blue.LOL - there better not be a next time on this bass.
Once is enough.

I need to come up with a plan that doesn’t involve co-conspirators.Of course he can be distracted with a ride in an AMX.
Where were they from. Bohemia? And where was he a conductor? My mom’s mom’s parents were from Bohemia. I’m not sure exactly when they immigrated, but I believe it was in the late 1890’s or early 1900’s, well before WWI. They owned a hotel in Wahoo, NB. Unfortunately, any papers, photos, etc. were consumed in a tragic fire. There were a lot of Bohemian immigrants who settled in Kansas and Nebraska during the later 1800’s and early 1900’s.My mom's father (my grandfather on my mom's side- Czech) was a train conductor. Had the dark blue uniform and he was the perfect image of a train conductor. Pocket watch on a silver chain - like central casting!

Looks to be in fantastic condition. You likely said, but how long have you owned it?I’m the 2nd or maybe 3rd owner. Which is pretty remarkable I think. It did stage time with the previous guy.
Exercise is good! Keep at it and you will be able to dead lift an SVT.Grrr............. Happy Thunderbird Thursday!

Playing live was the best drug. A decent gig is magical. I'm not a flashy person and don't want/need the attention, but there was always something out of this world playing a live gig. There were a few exceptions, of course. But nothing feels like a good gig and people digging the music. I would be afraid that if I played several times a week it would become more like work. Not that I have to worry about that these days.BG has another early Sunday night October 15th show there - a very fun 3-set gig! Great pizza within walking distance! The way to get repeat gigs is easy once you get your foot in the door. Be polite/adult, don't play too loud, play enjoyable music.., and most importantly - connect/interface with your/their clientele. How else is a "fan base" initiated/created? Be friendly, ask questions like... where are you from?.., do you like the (our) music?.., what's 's your favorite colour? (for fun!) - that's entertainment!
Gotta make doing the things that are special - special!I love performing live - every gig is special to me.
