Those Gremlins sure had a bad rap quality-wise, but man were they ever the cool thing when I was in high school (late 70s).

I re-oiled mine with, I think, bore oil? when I got it, because it looked pretty dry. I figure a similar level of oiling maintenance as the fretboard?

The white VP did not disappoint yesterday during an outside party. 95 degrees and high humidity.Direct sunlight and shade at times.
It stayed in tune the entire day. Definitely a solid instrument.

Could anyone tell me how proud the raised centre of the body is (in mm) from the rest of the body on an epi bolt on?

I'm getting a pickguard made and he's asked for that measurement but my t'bird is currently in for a setup.
