I have a piece in the concert band that I(sorta)need the low D for the last note of the tune. I think I'm gonna down tune the E for that tune 'cos I don't have a note on the E string in the rest of it.

I have a Hipshot D-tuner on my Teiscobird which I use for TSC's - we do 'Heroes' (Bowie) in which we drone the intro in D. Helps having that low D which switches to standard tuning once the song opens up.
I'd post the mix version we used as reference... but it's not available anymore.

I have a few - Hipshot used to do custom installs on sent tuners (for no extra charge) - but since Covid, they stopped. Also stopped offering a few key tuner brands w/their drop D, which sucks because one was a Gotoh Ultra-lite set I wanted a drop-D on. (that they used to offer...) arrrgggh!

I returned the set of tapes with the missing G string. The replacement set came today, with all four strings.
The Harvest set is a treat. It includes the original album, outtakes, some movies, a book, etc.

It’s like all these people claiming that “swamp ash” (it’s just ash that grew in a swamp, not a separate species), alder, and maple are the tone woodz because Leo picked them. They were cheap and available.
I learned useful things:
I hate quarterdeck watches and manning the rails. There’s a difference between liking someone and trusting their work and the other way around as well. Contrary to movies and TV, most professional criminals are stupid, boring, and dangerous because of their stupidity. Despite the large number of sexually attractive and available people people in the world, the spousal unit and I are a good fit for nearly 45 years.
Nobody hired me to do preventive maintenance on watertight doors or be able to do field maintenance on or operate an FP250 so all the damage control training and drilling went out the window. But not the concepts. Same with electronics.
I have a tendency to be an introverted bookish person; the Navy enhanced my ability to make decisions on the fly and search out alternative solutions in the real world.

Happy Friday all - not a current T-Bird owner (yet). Just always admired the looks & great warm tones from afar. Was searching YT for an old favorite local band from the early 90's and found one of my favorite songs from them - then also recalled the bass player used a T-Bird. They were big in the St Louis area in the early 90's and did a tour of clubs, dives, etc all over America. Definitely a strong musical influence in my local area & on me back then. I don't think they ever really took off fully, but a couple of tracks made their way into some popular 90's TV shows back in the day, like Dawson's Creek, Party of Five. The guys still live locally, extremely close to me actually & play music in their own individual, local projects.
Anyway, gotta love a song that the bass player (sporting a T-Bird) kicks off the count!

Being from the area, I saw ALOT of Judge Nothing shows in the mid to late 90’s. Thanks for that!
Try talking to your Pharm. They can possibly recommend something to take that can offset that a little. May (or may not) be as simple as taking a tums every so often, or a mild nausea med that won't add to the effects of the Gaba. Food on your stomach can help, but I know it's hard to eat.
