Holy F*** that's a hell of a deal for a bass that looks brand new! & this isn't a competition, but figured i might as well share my own short story of used bass buying
In 2016, when i was working at my local music store (steve's Music in Montreal, Canada), there was an older Gent who came in with his Gibson Grabber to have it fixed. Sadly, we weren't able to do the fixes, so he came back to get it, very understanding. On a whim, i gave him a paper with my name & number, & mentioned if ever he wanted to sell it, i'd be interested in buying (knowing full well how much these went for on used market online). SIX years pass, & in all that time, i had forgotten about it. Until last October 2022, when we got in touch, & met up late in the month. I originally bought it for 400$ from him (which is what he was asking for), but after discovering the truss rod was broken, & it'd have to be fixed (or possibly a new neck built entirely), he refunded me 200$. So i am the proud owner of a 1975 Gibson Grabber, in wine red. Aside from the broken rod (which i'll just fix with stewmac rod saver tool), a refret with the correct fret size, & some dings/scratches all around the body, it's all original & sounds killer! Though i have swapped the output jack for a switchcraft, & replaced the saddle height screws with shorter allen ajustable ones (kept the original parts in the case, the output was too loose to keep a good connection, & well the infamous tall saddle screws will cut my hand if i rest against it while playing).

^^^This makes it my third Grabber bass; the first being the one i built in 2014-2015, the 2nd being a 70's copy branded Maya (which i've modified/updated parts). But none sound like this one growls.
Hadda go look at both basses. Ibby looks about the same 'cept plastic 'ears' on the tuners. Epi looks typical Epi.
