I finally purged all my 30" scale, I just didn't get along with them, that included a cherry 2007 eb3, as usual I hated the bridge pickup...

I love that I got another Dingwall D-Bird. It never fails that gig pictures look 10x cooler with it! I'm not sure any body shape looks better on stage than a Thunderbird or Firebird.
Speaking of shorties. As I’m going through all my basses here at the main house, next up on a 7ender Friday is my faded Sonic Blue MIM ‘16 Mustang PJ. I upgraded it a while ago with USA Hipshot tuners. They make all the difference in the world. Didn’t need to do anything to the setup even though it was quite awhile ago when I last checked it. Another great player. It’s an early one when 7ender first brought them out with a nice rosewood FB instead of Pau Fero like more recent ones.

I'd like to get one but too many pickups and not sure if I need a fanned fretless....
LOL - unlined fanned fretless - that could cause some serious train wrecks.

Lovin my DBird (not as fond of the DRoc look) I’ll probably spring for a 6 way switch upgrade for something more intuitive and useful to me. Thinking - bridge, middle, neck, bridge/middle, middle/neck, all three. That should give me a nice combo of single coil and humbucker sounds.
I love all Tbirds, but I really love the reverses; Mike Watt's comes to mind immediately...
We need to get this girl and that little Ella bass playing monster together for a concert!
Well that was a successful meet up.
Another used bass with the plastic still on it.
As advertised it was pretty much unplayed.
The only down side is that Mrs Gator won’t let me paint this one either because of the sweet red tints in the color.
So I guess I’m back on the hunt for a VP to paint in blue.
I’m glad he accepted my offer. Not bad for $275.00
I’ll fill in the details later but right out of the box I dig it. Thanks enablers.

You should feel guilty for stealing that beautiful CP. But I know you won’t. That is the deal of the week around here. Congratulations Mr. Gator! And I agree with the Mrs. That is way too nice to refinish, even though you want to do it in my all time favorite color, Pelham Blue.

They never happen to me either. And to think, there are a couple of those listed on Reverb for around 1K each. Mr Gator needs to buy lottery tickets today.
I know it’s confusing and counterintuitive, but Mike’s is a non-reverse. Not sure where you are, but he’s touring here in California in September.
Having received the DA tapes yesterday, I put them on the TV Silver today. As I said before, this will be my Beatle bass. I really got a McCartneyesque tone dialed in with them.
