It was a very fun car to drive when running correctly.

I had a friend in the late seventies who had one. It was the most unreliable car he ever owned. He was always driving a loaner or a rental. But it was a very cool car.

For that price, already with chrome hardware and Thunderbuckers, plus all the original hardware and '01 pickups? And it's pretty light weight? Tempting doesn't even begin to describe it. If it's anything like my '01, it's got some weird magic about it. And it's a natural finish instead of burst. I don't recall seeing a post 1989 reissue with that finish more than a couple times.

I already have an ‘01.

While the color is unique, I’m not necessarily a fan. (I’d like to see it with a black guard).

I’m holding out for a later ‘90’s or very early 00’s Gibson in black.

If I got it I’d be thinking of refinishing it, which would be a shame since it’s not a common color.

I would like the pickups.

…and, for the round… I just have too many basses…

The natural finishes seem as rare as the transparent black that was offered briefly.

You can get nice and close to one in Seattle.
IIRC this specific plane's rear gunner shot down a jet during the Vietnam war.

First gig in over a year. My Sabbath Ozzy tribute The Blizzard of Ozz. Great first gig, got some good photos and video, it felt good to be back onstage. I did miss my Thunderbird though.
