I put one in my "hippie " Precision build. I really love the sound, they hit the nail on the head and the pole piece spacing is spot on for Fender. If you're inclined go to my Facebook page and scroll down there are some recent gig videos of the bass. Search Scott Dasson, there's only one ;)
How did you wire it? VV?

Had a brainwave for a new Brooks hybrid bass.
I have no idea if this has been done before, but it seems to make perfect sense to me

Very cool indeed, I was referring to the '76-'79 sidewinders but I actually really like the mudbucker concept and sound.
Will consult with pup maker.
This is a cool club!!

Actually, it should be spelled in Aramaic but I couldn't find a translation. Stupid Google.
I'm not sure of the Aramaic spelling either, but basically the same characters are used. I didn't spell Ib... But this is the Western "pointed" (containing vowels), version of the older, pre-Aramaic spelling. More of an "Ah" sound than the later "Ie" (I).

It's a big event on our street and lot of fun for us, especially early on with the little ones.
We also have people at the end of the block that go all out with their display with multiple animatronics. It's got to be a year round hobby.
Used to be on ours. But everyone here is pretty much our age now so no little ones. It was great fun years ago when we knew all the kids who came to the door.

Starting about 2010, there was an issue where people from other areas would come to our neighborhood in droves. A couple of years there was some vandalism. So the security company had to get involved to help prevent that. Covid pretty much ended it.

Think I've got all the spec for these pups - will check - would a slight lift in low end (a la Greco pups bottom end) be even more bang for buck? Am off to see the pup maker, hopefully Friday, thinking to get him to replicate the new NR Alnico types (in metal covers) with just a tiny bit extra fat ass!
Also thinking to see how sidewinder-ish (the '76-'79 sort) he can make a second pair for me - he and his pops (Kent Armstrong, Dan's son) have solved every pickup conundrum I've ever dropped at their feet so far. Including pentaphonic pups for an experimental thing, many moons ago . . .

Who is the pickup maker?
