Thunderbird Club

Not a lot of armor on that warrior.
She might use distraction as a tactic. Who knows. My ancestors may have been Picts. By way of Wilkes County.

Well, it's official. My knees both have advanced arthritis and hardly any cartilage along one side. The doc pulled about a shot glass full of fluid out of the left knee, the one that was sore. Then he filled it full of steroids. He says it's already pretty much shot, so it's really just a matter of making it last as long as possible before replacement. Plus, don't go jumping off of things any more. Sheesh.

thank you!! a trip to SEA before the next GTG is in the works as I wanna visit some buds up there, I.can bring (return; you are so awesome) the Electra and bring the BaCH so you can check it out…, funny you mention detours…all my life going there through Italian airports (Milan, Rome, Naples)…curiously this time it’s much cheaper to fly to Malta (through Munchen) and take the 45 minute hydrofoil ride to Syracuse….go figure….
Sometimes, it's less expensive to fly from Seattle to Philadelphia than it is to fly from Seattle to Oakland. Some things just are.

Hmmmmmmmm, that's an interesting read to be sure! Seems there's no hard and fast answer other than Maxxon made them before they started producing them in house.
I'll see what we can discover when we pop the "bonnet"!
This will be cool. Maybe we can commission a run of Greco reissues if it works out. He can call them TB Thunderbird Club pickups. I’d be up for putting a set in one of my Eppi IVs.

Probably our family too. Our clan was from Inverness.

Yep, your knees are bad. Worse than mine. It’s funny watching them syringe fluid out of your knee isn’t it.

When the young rheumatologist was doing that the Snr guy says “what’s the correct amount of fluid you should have in your knee?” I didn’t know.
“Nil!”.
He amused himself with that.

I figure it's just a fluid change, kinda like brake fluid. I looks like brake fluid. I wonder if it's good for anything except compost.

Not liking that, Will. Hope you can at least get some relief.

:roflmao:..we sound like wine snobs now….”don't really care for that Elbling varietal……not so much the vintage but the fact that it’s not from the north shore of the moselle……it’s literally ruining my Dover sole……”:laugh:
the 89’s wherever they were made sound
just fine……:D:bassist:

*Solid* rhythm section and cool cover!

I'd consider a set for the RNR.

One reason I'm keen to get some progress with Aaron (and, by proxy, Kent) is that once there are some p'ups sorted that folk who are REALLY INTO Thunderbirds like, then they will be produced by the same company both sides of the pond and, theoretically, may sidestep some of the many issues that affect affordability. So you guys, and possibly Rob in Holland - is that right @Basvarken? - could get the same units with minimal difference in costs.
Having said that, if I'd not had so many amazing pickups from them (all sorts of guitar as well as bass - inc 7 string) I wouldn't bother driving over to see them. They really are fantastic!
We'll see what they can launch on their site for us enthusiasts in the near future but here's their link before I badger them to add stuff we'd specifically like:
Kent Armstrong Pickups
Aaron commented that they've already got a number of Thunderbird models in their repertoire but that, what with one thing and another, they've not got many of their lines up on their site yet and none of what we're really looking for. Soon, friends, soon . . .
