Thunderbird Club

Sad to say; that "somebody" ain't me. The Guitar/Bass Dept. manager at the Sam Ash in Las Vegas, was my connection. He had "just a phone call away" contacts at Gibson, and he was very aware of the dearth of left handed stuff - especially basses. He's the guy that ordered my '13 T-Bird for me. He also got me my my '18 T-Bird. Which, for reasons I won't go into, and really had nothing to do with the bass, I sold to a fellow T-Bird member here, in...2021? I forget. Since I moved here 3 years ago, I don't have an "in" with Gibson anymore. TBH, it doesn't bother me; my bass herd is full; a Thunderbird was really the only Gibson bass I ever wanted; and, 25 basses is... plenty for this old player...

I'm just waiting to see if @godofthunder59 weighs in. 8^)

Not liking that, Will. Hope you can at least get some relief.
It was completely asymptomatic until about three months ago. The right knee still is mostly that way. Now that it has been drained, it feels great. Plus steroids. My left knee will be Ah-nold.

I wonder if it is time to consider an amp that is a little lighter than an ACC 360. Nah.

I agree with that. And each person can claim the percentage of affect as an individual (to their ears), which makes the percentage of affect across the board variable. Even if A-B'd using as close a match as possible - two 'identical' instruments would be incrementally different, and this leaves out individual player input. As long as someone is happy with the way their own instrument sounds to their ears - it's all just conjecture.

Agreed. Ultimately, if I'm happy with an instrument, it inspires me to play better and more. Then so long as whoever's listening is happy enough with the sound, I'm happy. Spending time and money to chase tiny incremental changes is almost never worth it to most of us.
