We stopped doing a full Turkey, but there are various other cuts available these days. So we grab one of those, basically half a turkey. It got to being only me basically that are the dark meat and the leftovers.

Friday, we had an electrician in for his part in some repairs we had done. Anyway, he mentioned Canada for some reason and was wearing a Whistler cap. So I asked him about it. He said he has a house there, about halfway between Whistler and Vancouver. I think he said Squamish ?
I don’t recall hearing of that place before.
His recommendation was that Air Canada does Sydney - Vancouver non stop, 13 hours. Qantas is only allowed the direct route during snow season as all the Aussie skiers take the numbers to excess of Air Canada’s capacity.
He seemed a good bloke, I hope he is a good electrician.
One funny thing though. The NA way of switching up for On was driving him nuts, so he switched them all around.
The interesting thing is I found out when my Sunn and MM amps had static but didn’t at Chuck’s house. Funny thing is neither of my Ampegs have static. Must have really good filters.

Honestly I am weary of the disrespect for the pick....... even in jest. I use both pick and fingers, even been known to slap and pop on occasion. Almost totally agree. I mostly use fingers; pick where appropriate, but no S&P. (A) wouldn't fit our repertwah... er, repuhtwar..., no, uh...song list! And(2), I have a bone spur thingy on the outside of my thumb(slap-OW!)
Lightest I ever had was in the 1.5k range. Full 40 footer(shows how long ago) of styrofoam sheets to make coolers.390km.....that's like 50-60 miles?
That's what I have now. Most I've had in a little box is 18k or so, about 30k in a big box. Sometimes like 3k in the big 53
The new dedicated run I started recently tends to run 24k-28k, normally in a big box, but it goes across the mountain, through donner's pass, into NV - be nice to have a 13 for it!
