You may be right, which would be the same issue as the 2018 I had. But it was in-line with the neck, so it played correctly.

Sounds like you are doing what they are calling a Resto Mod

Pretty much, except that it won't look updated much until you look closely at it. It won't have absurdly wide wheels, it won't be lowered to practically scraping, it won't have led lighting, or any of the other things that seem to be the usual resto mod thing. The wheels will look period correct, and I am hoping to use stock gauges. The seats will be new for safety reasons mostly, but will look as close as possible. It will only be obvious that it is far from stock when the hood is open or you are under it looking up. That is the goal anyway.

Nice. I looked her up and she seems to play all Longhorns, of different colors. But those are some of the floppiest strings I've ever seen.

I wonder what’s up with that. My ‘15 is under 8lbs. My ‘21 NR is 8 1/2. My ‘13 NR is right around 9. I’m not sure about the studio; Geo brought a scale to the GTG but I forgot to weigh it.

I took the '71 J to practice tonight, equipped with SIT Power Wounds. To my knowledge that's the best that bass has ever sounded. It's no Thunderbird, but sounded very enjoyable. Both Js now have Power Wounds and are very happy.
