Now that I’ve got my brother all lined out medically, the search is back on for a sweet warm little bass amp I can put in my Family room so I don’t have to relegate my self to the bass room to noodle around. What do y’all think about this one…

…seriously, the price looks great to me if I truly needed anything that size. I’m just looking for a nice clean 300watt SS or 50watt Tube rig with a warm 2x12 bass cab for under $1000 new or used.
Those heads have volume knobs so you don't have to use all those watts at once. Black would go with a lot of interiors. Could be a good excuse you buy some thick shag carpet.... Just a thought.:D

Fender Jazz Bass 1972 - Sunburst | Reverb

Quite the closet queen here.

Didn’t someone just get a ‘72 earlier this year.
My '71 looks to be close to that condition. Even has the original Fender strap. Special order black for that year (I was told). I'll knock a three grand off that price if anyone is looking for a nice Christmas present.:smug:

Only two times I was in Bakersfield was once racing bicycles and once doing a two day track-weekend (motorcycle) at Buttonwillow. Both times were very hot (weather) - both were memorable in different ways. :)
Been out to Buttonwillow track days when my brother ran his Hurricane and then his Ducati before his wife quashed all the fun.

Probably not gonna do it. The 760’s in the white one are surely no different (or only insignificantly different) than the 760’s that the black one came with new. Plus, the white one is just so perfect sounding, and I have done nothing but put new strings on it right after I got it from GC for a grand total of $346.00 I figure I should have at least one bass that came the way it was made. I think only my 4003S/5 is the only other bass with its original pickups. Which is another one that once I stuck the right strings for it, on it, it was done!

I get that, if i could keep my basses stock, i would (well those that aren't built by me xD since those usually stay "stock" as i build them). I think my reasoning was more seeing if the devastators are actually to your liking overall. But heck, could be a number of things that mare them in the black VP not sound great.

Really learned a lot that weekend. Clockwise on Saturday, counterclockwise on Sunday. Late in the day on Sunday a rider (at speed) nudged against me in a bend. He apologized after we stopped and I said - 'no worries'. I was getting as comfortable on a motorcycle as I was on my bicycle in races where contact wasn't a big deal for me. (as in.., contact happens)
