Thunderbird Club

Really learned a lot that weekend. Clockwise on Saturday, counterclockwise on Sunday. Late in the day on Sunday a rider (at speed) nudged against me in a bend. He apologized after we stopped and I said - 'no worries'. I was getting as comfortable on a motorcycle as I was on my bicycle in races where contact wasn't a big deal for me. (as in.., contact happens)
Is "contact" a new euphemism for ":poop:"?

Of course it was a truck. I’d say more, but don’t want to get banned. Let’s just say there are a lot of idiots who live in Bako with an average IQ of 80. Can’t wait to leave.
As an ex professional truck-as in tractor/trailer-driver, it kinda burns my @$$ when someone driving a pickup after a few adult beverages causes an accident and the news just says 'truck'.

It’s California, we only have one kind of truck. They pretty much ban big rigs or at least that’s their goal.

Loosely I guess... I've been in sprints where contact "happened" and nobody went down and the most determined rider won. So I wouldn't necessarily consider that shït - just something that happens in the heat of a sprint. I was a Category II (Cat I was the top, usually semi-pro's) racer so I was competing against like-experienced riders.

OK. Then how the eff is [stuff] gonna get to the retail outlets, grocery stores, gas stations, etc.? Everything you buy makes part of its journey in a "big rig". EVERYTHING!

I'm not aware of this...

Yah, like shooting yourself in the foot... :wacky:

Come on out and take a look. We have magic carpets, but, of course, those run on solar and wind.
Well, (A), I spent time in CA-as a 'guest' of the Navy. I have no interest in going back there.

Sorry... sometimes I can't tell sarcasm from cynicism. I usually tolerate sarcasm as long as it's clever.
Well...
I'm a sarcastic cynic, so...:p
I'm also currently working on getting plastered(it is 0045 here), so :smug:
(this 'activity[?])does not require a working 'fridge'-mine doesn't. parts apparently delayed:banghead:)

...and that's.., OK - too many people here anyway. Even with all the recent "people fleeing CA propaganda"... I say - bring it on. CA is still the 7th biggest economy IN THE F-ing WORLD.
