We used to have a couple PA cabs kind of similar in style to this but seemed much bigger. The horns were huge and sat on top, then a row of tweeters on top of that. Monster cabs. I don't miss loading/unloading/loading one bit. The cab below would have been very welcome.

I still have a PA that has two cabs with four front firing 15s and a separate midrange horn with rows of piezo tweeters above and below. It can be moved using a full size van and a refrigerator hand truck. It hasn't been moved for several years. Surprise.

Yesterday was NBD for me. This one's a bit more beat up than the burst I bought from @dukeorock but it plays great, sounds great, and is RED!
The truss rod needs a bigger allen wrench than the Epis. I think it's a 5mm; I used a 3/16" (my metrics having wandered off with someone) which worked but was a bit loose. (Willy's action was low even for me.)
I had to raise the neck pickup because the rubber foam was unexpandable- 4 slices of index card did the trick.
It sounds different than the other Greco but has different flats on it. Purple silks, tho! Came with a case, three (!) leather straps, and a pair of socks. @WillyW is a pleasure to do business with. Pink Floyd (Echoes live at Pompeii), Cream, SSPU, my own stuff, it worked for everything. Happy camper.

That is the newer version of my rolling appliance. Everyone sees dozens of them every day. Nobody can remember ever seeing one. It is the perfect stealth vehicle.

It's hardly tilted. There's very little break angle there or at the bridge.

They used the depth of the neck to get any headstock angle. Mine is the thick end of a Louisville Slugger. It has the same straight line quality. I don't remember if Rics are like that or not.

When I dig in, the strings juuuuust miss the pickup. If I get sloppy with a pick, they'll hit.

I find I don't like my Bird pickups too high. For me a bit lower works just fine.
Also gives the amp a chance to do its thing.

I like the amp to do all the things it can. If I play light to medium, it stays clean. If I dig in, the input starts to get slammed, adding grind. Works great with tube amps and *some * SS amps. Nothing in my chain before the Super 800 distorts, but the Super 800 and/or the Rumble will and sound good as they do. It's not overwhelming, just a nice bite to the sound.

We are a lost cause this year.

Since my work is very near the stadium we often get folks parking in our private lot even though it is clearly marked as ours....... I'll spend the afternoon having people towed.

Being downtown on 6th St, we have to have "No event parking" signs for our parking garages. Even with gated entrances, sometimes the gate messes up and people ignore the signs and park … and get towed. The lucky ones get stopped by the off duty cop working security and told to leave so they won't get towed.

That is cool. My '09 Epi EB-0's TRC was missing when I got it a coupla years ago. I bought this custom one-b4 Irv started doing them.
Almost matches the fretboard. Almost.
