We have both, crocs predominately in Southern FL; gators all over. The crocs were almost wiped out 'til the State stepped in and declared them endangered. They are mostly salt water residents. Ft. Lauderdale has a lotta canals that connect to the Atlantic.

Last amazing show Beth & I saw/heard was exactly this one - I love Radiohead but their admission price is more than I choose to pay, but this was the next best thing. Thom played some very cool vintage basses that night. Johhny stuck to a stripped Fender P when he played bass.

I saw Radiohead for free at Austin City Limits. Great show.

Funny (true) story related to your pics (Neil Young and bulge-mobile) Backstory - Neil collected big '40s cars. At the time, he lived south of SF on a ranch with lots of land around it. For enjoyment he frequented a toy-store in San Mateo called Talbots because he was a RR/train guy and they had a back room with a full-on landscaped model train "environment". (V would love it) He would go there & hang out playing with trains, smoking weed having a great time on a Sunday morning.

So on one of those Sundays, my friend Lyle & I were returning from a long Peninsula bicycle ride. At an off-ramp from HW 280 to where NY needed to exit to get home, Lyle and I are arcing to that off ramp "T" intersection at speed while assessing the big 'woody' Hudson wagon heading for the stop-sign. I was in the lead and judged that I would be at that "T" exactly when that big woody wagon would stop there. The wagon "touched" the brakes, and was going to power through - right in front of me! I yelled - STOP! with my hand outstretched and (luckily) it stopped. But the driver (Neil Young - hard to not identify him) smiled and gave me the "Oh-Kay" hand symbol. !!! Totally stoned judging by his grin - like "sorry dude"...

Being a Neil Young fan - I don't hold it against him... I always wanted to meet him knowing he was "in the (general vicinity) hood"... but that could have been a less that optimal way to do so. Needless to say - I remember it like it was yesterday - Neil... no memory of it happening.

Yep. The story goes he and Palmer were cruising Sunset in Mort, saw Stills and stopped him to talk. And Buffalo Springfield was born.

C'mon man, there are downsides to everything. Where's your sense of adventure? I'm just glad gas and batteries aren't explosive.:laugh:

They actually have good technologies that make Hydrogen as safe as other current options. And the byproduct out the pipe is....water. Could be promising and far more reliable and not as much drilling and ungodly amounts of mining which would be a good thing.
