This is that Polaris white '64 that's currently on eBay 1964 Gibson Thunderbird II Bass the mintest 100% original Polaris White example. | eBay - I think it's been posted here already. However.., I just noticed that it has two-caps like in mine. it also has electrician tape under each pot like mine. Hard tp discern what coating is in the cavity as it doesn't appear to be aluminum paint.

Well. Shoot. Inverness Green looks blue in a lot of pics. And the Faded Pelham Blue looks like green in many pics. Lighting is weird that way. Silver Frost looks good too. I’ll still get one. But I’m not going to rush. I’m really happy they are finally listening. And making some cool stuff. I’ll have Geo help me dye the FB.

But also a relief for my wallet. If there was Heather Mist for bass, I'd have to get a matching pair with the Firebird I. As it stands, I'll stick with the vintage white VP, since those seem to be fleetingly uncommon these days.

Seeing her playing that bass in videos is what prompted me to name the red Greco "Nikki".

So why two I wonder. They were out of .047’s? Or is there some other reason that I don’t know enough about electronics to understand? There can’t be any appreciable difference between .044 and .047 right? And are tolerances even that accurate? I’m just asking to learn. As I’m pretty new at the whole electronics thing.

I do not know. She and the others have been able to control their online personal info remarkably well. I’ve met them, they are all very nice. And very private. They love their fans and are approachable. Nikki is married, has two young twin daughters, and a husband who by all accounts is a great guy. The fans respect them and their privacy. And well it should be.

When I was in college at UC Irvine, my buddies and I frequented OCIR. We could hear the races in our dorm. We spent many great nights at the races there. It closed in ‘83 shortly after I left Irvine for grad school. Great times.
