Thunderbird Club

WEIRD (but that Casady really is almost as pretty as my younger blue cat).

This link actually works: Invalid Link Removed

...and all part of the service @PillO.

That link is not as good as it does not lead to a Jack Casaday. But it did show me this:

A confetti canon has at least a dozen uses at home (well, my home anyway). I am still thinking through getting a smoke machine for home use as well. Because, well, think of all the fun you can have with a smoke machine.

Kat is correct. Spend on Thunderbirds until you have no more money. Then mortgage your house, spend the children's college fund, max your credit cards, and steal from your relatives. Then spend all of that on Thunderbirds.*

The rule is that the correct number of Thunderbirds is one more (abbreviated at n+1).**

*This is not serious advice. ***

**The rule is more of a guideline.

***But you should buy a Thunderbird.
All true, except that it is serious advice. Really. Would any of us say anything that wasn't true?

BTW @Mathilda, I like that your profile currently says 'Saturday' it tickles my absurdist sensibilities. 'Mathilda Saturday' is a great stage name, alternatively 'Mathilda and the Saturdays' or 'Mathilda Saturdays' would be excellent band names.

Use it or lose it!

Where are you located? Here's the current Epi Classic IV PRO @ MF [UPDATE: NB the link (found via Google) redirects to a different bass. Very ODD]

Saturday's Mathilda. It's endless.

I want to get a smoke machine and hook it up to the back of a Prius then drive around town to see what kind of looks I get. ;)

I have a fun rediscovery story of a past activity that got me reinvigorated. Last Summer I went to visit my brother in Livermore, CA and he invited me to play tennis with him like we did in the "good ol' days". While out there, we went out to play 3 times and he whipped me pretty good since I hadn't played in 20 years and he has remained competitive on club ladders playing singles. Well, since last July, I've played at least twice a week and upwards of 4-5 hours per week. It's been a blast rediscovering a long lost passion(tennis) and have made a dozen or so "tennis friends" to go out and hit/play with since. I'm not giving up on the mountain biking which is what I got into during the no-tennis years and plan to do both as long as I can. Staying active is the key and I highly recommend regardless of fitness level that we all get moving or keep moving.

I prefer the word 'movement' or even 'activity' over 'excercise'.
People can get scared away by excercise.

Don't forget to run a tape of a 427 v8 or something while doing so.

Wing Chun! I really should get back. I'm in touch with my sifu, but just haven't had time to get back.
Yeah, lol, you should!
Same here though, teenage daughters, married, house that needs work, heavy work sched, et ceteraaaaaa... but I really dig it. Soon as I can get back without a steady flow of interruptions, which is after this month, I'm back... I practice and we're in touch though, and I built a dummy for a kid just recently.

Who's you're sifu? Know Philip Redmond? He used to teach in NY- and he's doing a Butterfly sword seminar in a month or so, in the city...

Thundermongers?

Arriving on planets in a TBird shaped spaceship and laying waste to everything? Yeah, that sounds like us.
Ok, could've done better... it felt funny I'll admit.

'Bird herders... Thunderpilots... we of the 'Bird Clan... my words have hit a wall. I'm up, and will go back to bed now. I'm a little crispy around the edges...
