Ugh. There ought to be a law against posting something that ghastly.
..No touk tonight?
Ask a Canadian.Touk?
Actually went off thunderbird for a night, my ‘69 neck double P felt like a good choice for the night.
..and it was!
were there any scale flying models?
This, this, this.
I recall seeing a toy of one when a kid in the late 60s(?) and fell in love with it. Had no idea it was a real plane until a got book of planes a few years later.
My Dad and I in Mobile at the USS Alabama Museum.

I'm 6' even. Or was then.
I had to make sure my “Office Bass” was still on the wall after seeing that picture.
Orange is a great choice! I love my Orange rig!
Italian seasoning from a vending machine?
Nice score! They’re great Thunderbirds.Just snagged this Epiphone Blackbird for around 250$. Paired with my mysterious japanese sixx.
Ironically I don’t even listen to nikki sixx’s music.
I shortly upgraded the bridge with a hipshot. miles better than the
stock 3 point

My mother in law had a ‘90 one for a few years. It looked nice and was pretty comfortable. But it spent as much time in the shop as it did on the road.I remember that I quite liked the look of a couple of the later ones.

As well as the usual early birds.
That LPB MIM P was new old stock that I got for a Squier price around the time they were dropping the “Standard” line for the “Player” series. I need to play it more.My purchase is your fault since you wouldn't sell me that LPB-P you have. I was sad and made an emotional decision
That does look nice.I doubt fret sprout will be the issue that it was in the past and that certainly was a concern. The tangs on the frets are undercut and the slots filled. Very nice work. I have basses I've paid a lot more for with far more fret issues. View attachment 5355678
The gaffer tape really pulls it together.
