Thunderbird Club

Gig bag = equals broken headstock. I predict a epidemic of busted headstocks in shipping and new bird owners thinking that the gig bag is suitable for thier new(probably first) Thunderbird. Sigh nothing like experience to teach you I suppose.
On the positive side, that means there will be lots of cracked and broken ones on the market available for repair and modding.

Most likely. I don't know why, but customs busts huge counterfeit shipments in Northern Kentucky and here. As in truck loads of name brand clothing, jewelry, auto parts (spark plugs seem to be a popular item to fake), you name it. They never say where they were intended to be shipped to (Earl's Alley Discount or a legit store). Part of the investigation aspect I suppose. But these people are not getting a van load but loads the size of tractor trailers of fake items.
18 wheelers are easier to find than stills.:smug:

 I'll have to combine TSC & BG lists to see how many songs we're currently playing. My friend Cork who played in bands in the '60s in SF said they knew over 100 songs! I asked him when they rehearsed and he said "rehearsed?" - they would get to the gig early and learn a couple new songs before starting. It was a different scene back then - he played every day of the week and twice on the weekends.
We have over 200 songs. Some get played every gig; others, rarely.

interesting gig bag posts….have mentioned my BaCH one in the past but no one else seems to have one and was wondering where the input came from as it seems to address well known TBird weak points pretty well…..

My Epi Embassy gig bag(Road Runner-from GC)is similar. Lotsa padding. Unfortunately, too short for the 67 NR. Almost a 'soft' case.

Separate upper section for cables, music, other [stuff].

EDIT: (shot new, clearer pix)
Tried to make it better, effed it up somehow.:banghead:

yeah, the h/s section on the BaCH gig bag is reinforced on the sides…. very well thought out NR TBird specific bag…..almost like BaCH were given a heads up on the idiosyncrasies of these basses…

Depending on winds and arrival fix.
Looking forward to this view on my way in.

Queen will be picking you up in the Subie................
We'll throw your luggage out of the car at speed as we pass the house on our way to the bar....

Good! Not a bad turnout considering the weather. I’d like to think more would have made it if not for the rain. Sound not by Violet, so no issues with nouns.

How about you? How’d it go out there in Richmond point?

Oh good to hear, maybe she's just a Sunday 'sound-girl'... yah, same here considering the weather - which tapered off between our sets so relatively rain-free driving home. It's not a big room but there was a good number of enthusiastic people in attendance. It feels like we're developing a 'fan-base' there. Opening band X-Confidence from Santa Rosa were fun (mostly original music) and our two sets went really well. Kirstin had been nursing a sour-throat the last couple weeks but she was in top-form Saturday night.
The Baltic Kiss people are so nice - we'll be playing there again with both bands in the months ahead. :bassist:

Yeah I’ve been there, it’s a nice venue. I’d like to get up there and do a show.

Nice to not have to drive home in the rain, I was grateful for that too.

BTW, the brewery in SSF will be doing shows again this spring/summer. I can put you in touch with my buddy that oversees it if you like?
