Still the Thunderbird I'm waiting for.
Dang it...I missed it. It's like watching the odometer turning over in the car and seeing 100001!
I like your description of Batwing tuners better then calling them Y’s but both are accurate. I have several basses like my ‘71 slot head EB3 that look right with the Batwings and also my re-release EB-1 but my concept for this project is clovers. I do like the look of lollipops on old Fender headstocks too!

All six are different in one way or another and I know which is for which project.
Bad Lemon is E standard/some drop D.
Red Sun Ruins is both Eb/Drop Db and D standard/drop C.
Ugh. The new Epiphone 60's Thunderbirds are made in China.I guess I should clarify. Epiphone's China facility puts out a good product, I'm not complaining about that. I was told production wasn't shifting and that they would continue to be built in Indonesia, so that's what I have been telling people. Also I have to sell this stuf and MIC makes a difference to a lot of customers, they won't touch it.
I used to use Cobalt flats and they are a great bright sounding flat. Rust got em in the end! Though i do have very corrosive sweat it seems..
Who bought it?
I see Sam Ash (Never bought there) has advertised a Silver Mist that looks green for same price?

That's sure not black, white, or burst. I'll be looking to see if they offer any other colors.
[edit] Scott already mentioned the other colors. I'm slow this morning.
A little promo..........
If you have an interest in visiting Seattle and hanging out with us cool Thunderbird folks this Summer, drop me a PM.

Some killer stuff...
Oh good to hear, maybe she's just a Sunday 'sound-girl'... yah, same here considering the weather - which tapered off between our sets so relatively rain-free driving home. It's not a big room but there was a good number of enthusiastic people in attendance. It feels like we're developing a 'fan-base' there. Opening band X-Confidence from Santa Rosa were fun (mostly original music) and our two sets went really well. Kirstin had been nursing a sour-throat the last couple weeks but she was in top-form Saturday night.
The Baltic Kiss people are so nice - we'll be playing there again with both bands in the months ahead.![]()
This is a 12' Batwing in this neck of the woods. $18,250I don't recall who here I first saw use "batwing". Most recently was @RedVee . Lollipops on old fenders are ok, but I just have Thunderbirds (and am content!)
I love when two monsters get together. Even more so when they mix in a Gibson and a Strat!
