Thunderbird Club

Got one on our farm. It takes so much HP, we had to buy a bigger tractor...at least that's our story for the women folk.
Pics or it didn't happen and you have this...

How does the bolt on sound with the BEAD tuning?
I have a potential situation that will require a 5 string. I'm down to onkybone bass which is a 5 but would need a backup and have been craving a T-Bird. I love the VP/60's tone but will definitely need the extend low range. Money is tight but maybe I can swing the D-Roc Standard 5 I've been lusting after. I should have pulled the trigger on the T-Bird Studio 5 when I had the chance.
Hind sight is best sight. I want a fiver and a Studio should be perfect. But they are really rare.

Yeah I’ve been there, it’s a nice venue. I’d like to get up there and do a show.

Nice to not have to drive home in the rain, I was grateful for that too.

BTW, the brewery in SSF will be doing shows again this spring/summer. I can put you in touch with my buddy that oversees it if you like?
Sounds like I need to make the drive up to visit you guys again…

Stating the obvious here, I took one of my Thunderbirds to my Sabbath/ Ozzy tribute rehearsal tonight. I was struggling with the 7ender for this gig but was forcing myself because thats what Geezer and Daisley used. Using my 2021 Nonreverse was a pleasure, everything sounded right, was easy to play and just felt right. I really think I did myself a disservice try to use a FSO for this gig. The band even noticed how much more comfortable I seemed and they loved the sound of the Thunderbird!
