Per equipboard, he played quite a variety of basses - but no Gibsons.Geezer may have mostly used a 7ender but what I remember him using are the Dan Armstrong and the BC Ironbird.
7enders aren’t memorable

I suck at pictures, but there she is. The strap I have is a bit short (I'm 6'6", 320 pounds) so I was playing it higher than I would an FSO. My drummer, who's a better bass player than I am, commented that, "I don't know if it's the new bass or where you're playing it, but you're playing super tight tonight." If I could I'd go get a second one, as long as I'm getting complimented on it.
If we’re talking green:

“MY” take on the Fender Mustang and MusicMaster short scale. I like ‘79’s era Fenders, I despise the Mustang/Musicmaster body shape.
…so meet MY ‘78 Mustang and ‘79 Musicmaster.
So fun to play and sound really damn good.
This.
Bring distracted thinking about my tone definitely has an effect. I notice it even more with my guitar players. Constantly looking at their pedals, amp settings, etc. The guitarist in one of my bands is not happy with the amp he has and is working hard to compensate for what it’s not giving him with pedals until he can find and afford something that will finally (hopefully) give him what he wants. But it’s becoming a problem, for at least the first three songs of the set during practice I can see the frustration he’s having. For me, I mostly have a good to great tone, but when I switch basses, some adjustments can be necessary. Always trying to get good levels, and all that.
I’ve actually been trying to make it a point to just concentrate on just playing well, especially if I am not happy with what I hear, whether it’s me or someone else. A part of practicing is playing around the distraction(s).
Do they all look like that? How wide? What’s the backing material?I’ve got some of these super long 65” straps I’m looking to sell:

Notice the solid brass hardware and strong leather-like ends?!
You're so hip you have difficulty seeing over your pelvis.I'm hip.
I know. I always thought it was "Tracker", but according to the site where I found the pic, Tracer.Tracer? Tracker?....does it matter?...

Closer to 3 1/2You'all are 3 weeks early for all the green axes.
Tragically hipI'm hip.
Well, so far, they're still working.Tragically hip
True.This never works…
Pretty hard for a bad bass player to make good drummer sound bad. All too easy for a bad drummer to make us sound terrible.
Thursday is diaper day?Depends.

Is that the 150W guitar head? This thing!
It's insanity!
The two knobs at the right are the channel volumes - they're barely at 2
It's not quite as bassy as a some bass amps, maybe a bit more lo- mid, but with the band it's riding in mix very nicely.

Can you please get a board wider than your cab to set the head on? When I see this and think of a foot sliding off it makes me nervous. This thing!
