The only setting is the gain knob. On both it was adjusted to read an average LUFS of -15 on my WMS plug-in.Did you run both tubes with the same settings? In that, I agree you can hear the difference, but the lower grain tube will sound the same as the higher grain tube if you just push it a little harder, or push the other a little less.
No doubt about it. Even if there were no Thunderbirds, it would be fantastic to meet everyone in person. Certainly a high point in life. I don't think that means I have really low expectations....I think you'd enjoy it, for many reasons.![]()

The Cobalt Flats are surprising if you haven't tried them before. They do not sound like a traditional flat.You're going to have a solid week of .73 Tortex picks and various Rounds this Summer, there hasn't been a set of Flats in my house for at least 15 years now.
