Enjoy Germany Jeffja, alles gut. Danke.
That's crazy - why???
I had the battery replaced on my iPhone 6 a few years ago. I only got the 14 because I could expense it - had it for over a year now and I still hate the fact that they removed the home button.
They changed factories from Indonesia to China.
The Apple stuff works, but they just keep changing for the sake of changing. I’ve had the 14 for a year and I still take unintended screen shots almost daily when I pick it up or take it out of my pocket![]()
Shockingly enough, I'm not. I like lots of colors of 'Birds.
Heck. When they answer the phone, they don’t seem to have a clue about what they’re currently offering.
Gibson 1968 1969 Thunderbird Ii Non-Reverse Safe delivery from Japan | eBay
(I wonder if "Ii" means it's not quite a "II".)
From the notoriously accurate website: "Inspired by the vintage Gibson™ T-Bird basses of that era, the new Thunderbird ’64 retains all of the classic elements that made the originals iconic, from the nine-ply mahogany and walnut neck-through-body construction right down to the instantly-recognizable hot-stamped Thunderbird logo on the three-ply pickguard. "You’re assuming (logically) that they would send the files to a new factory. From what I have seen, I don’t believe they do that.
@godofthunder59 can you take a closer look at the one in your shop? Maybe they went set neck and didn’t say anything.
The latter one looks better every day. But no way I can justify paying that much. If my buddy Watt played it, I would be tempted though.Norms has the reverse for 10k still. That ones ok but still more than I’m willing to pay.
I still go back and look at the 4k non from texass.

Woodworkers piss me the shag off, I don’t get the obsession with sanding the shag out of everything just to refinish. Save the shaging serial number ya shags…

It’s the pickguard.Several times. It gives me the willies. (No relation to @WillyW .)
Which is so odd. I’m a fanboy. Epi makes high quality basses and guitars. Way better than the Squier stuff 7ender pedals. It is astonishing in this day and age that they have no clue.Support had a really hard time determining whether they were making and selling the E1 when I asked why all the stores had it but their website did not. They finally punted and said if it wasn't on the website, assume they didn't have it.
Oh my. Give Frank my congratulations and best wishes! That looks incredible.Well, having this in my hands I can easily say that this whole neck thing you guys are on about is pretty minor, had to really look to see a difference - there is, but seriously. My first impressions of it are that I like it better than my white Vintage Pro, the neck is very slightly thinner so I already like how it plays better, the pickups are 760s and this bass will stay stock with the possible exception of me airbrushing the raised portion of the headstock black. Glad they didn't do blue 'cause I'd be ordering one.
TD;DR NGL it's a really nice bass!

Coolest husband ever had this show up today as well - it is stunning.

So I can’t stop looking at Frank’s new Firebird. GAS is bad for me with this one. I’ll have to practice guitar before the GTG. I hope Frank lets me try it out.Well, having this in my hands I can easily say that this whole neck thing you guys are on about is pretty minor, had to really look to see a difference - there is, but seriously.
