That does look cool. Earnie Ball has some incredible finishes coming out of SLO Town. That’s not surprising, given the location of the factory.
I’ve decided I’m going with the ‘13/‘14 version of the Gibson EB with the tapped DeColas for my foray into an electric fiver. I like the ergonomics, and of course the tone. And the price compared to finding a nice used Studio TBird fiver in acceptable condition.

The coat is the real deal......wasn't wearing much underneath it - hard to tell in the pic, can't be risque on TB. I was trying it out as a costume to wear at an event upcoming at The Museum of Flight.

I have an old Fisher in my office. Some pots and switches need some TLC. I’ll drop it by next time I head up. And a ‘72 Pioneer could use the same. I’d love to get it fixed for sentimental reasons. Do you do old Sony carousel CD players?

yes, belts can be tricky to find on those but usually not a problem...

Is that going to be a standard color or is it a one-off for the retailer? I assume the hardware is chrome and only looks black because of a quirk of the lighting in the photograph.

Only problem with that one and the purple one is that the sparkles are a little too much like shiny spatters instead of metal flake. Did I mention that being shallow is a calling? I'm very particular about how I go about bad taste.
A blue would be incredible. I’ll be selling a kidney to pay my taxes anyway, so if there is some left over, I could get one!
