These were wild ducks. I don't know if they were bigger or smaller, but the male sure had a spectacular green head. The female was more modest.

Flew in to a gig in Nashville with an old buddy of mine. He gave me a list of 50ish songs. Out of the first 18 songs he called, 2 were on the list and I knew an additional one on my own. The other 15 I had never attempted to play. Guitarist would shout a key and some numbers at me. Drummer played MD in the ears and I winged the poopie out of it. Lol. We were just laughing about that two nights ago.

Singer - I have never seen you so nervous before in my life.

Me - I wasn't nervous, I was flipping lost and had no clue what the hell we were playing.

S - Sounded good though.

The Moon is much closer to the Earth and it's orbit is tilted. It is moving at a much faster and different rotational path then the Earth is rotating around the Sun. Every so often their orbits line up and create a Lunar Eclipse or a Solar Eclipse. That's why a Total Solar Eclipse is a fairly rare event! Next one here is over 400 years away!

The issue is astronomers say the moon is 1/400th the size of the sun and 400 times closer. So, the moon is the exact same size as the sun optically from the earth. If that was true, then the transit would be continuous. So, there must be other geometric issues at play.
