I've seen two totals, two annulars, and some partials. It doesn't get old. There's always something to observe, if only in people and animal behavior. But it's just plain fun to watch. Color me geeky, coz I am.

Yep. The days I'm the most frustrated with my playing are the days I get the most compliments. The days I feel like I nailed it (or as close as I get), crickets. But hey, whatever. I got to play!

Charts make some sense in mine, too, but I've still been working to learn things by heart AMAP. If I know the shapes of things. it's easier to (a) not get lost and (b) recover. Also to add to the music in the moment.

I’ve got a copper pitcher, matching copper mugs, and copper straws. Titos vodka, lemon juice, but out of ginger ale.
The problem tends to be structure. Verses, choruses, and a bridge (or maybe two). Possibly a tag. If it has multiple choruses or bridges they may not be identical. And sometimes we throw in an extra of one or more, or remove one, or ... So if I'm expecting two verses / chorus / two verses / chorus / bridge / chorus / tag and the leader throws in an extra chorus while I charge into a verse ...
But yeah, that's what I try to do. And sometimes it works. But sometimes I'm suddenly going, "Where the heck are we? I think I shoulda taken a left at Albuquer Key."
