Thunderbird Club

I always loved the Quick Draw character "El Kabong"
A friend and I once acted out Quickdraw vs a bad guy scenario, using a broken cheap acoustic guitar I found on a trash heap. We chased each other all over the courtyard and the outside staircases of my apartments for the amusement of everyone hanging out. It culminated in me hurling it at him from the third floor. It landed 7-8 feet away with a wonderful KABONG type sound as the strings vibrated while it burst. He staggered and acted like it had hit him. The kids loved it, and the adults got a laugh, too. Free theater in a cheap apartment complex on a muggy Atlanta summer day.

To be clear. You want a USA Foundation. The earlier eighties have the P knobs like mine. They are rare. I've been told that the body on mine is an '86, but that may not be accurate because Peavy supposedly switched to black speed knobs sometime in '86.

Mine was built for Doyle with the older body and the newer thin neck. Peavy was trying to get him to move from 7ender. He didn't really recall how much he used it as he was playing mostly fivers by the time he got it.

If the one you see for $200 has the P knobs, get it. Here's a reverb listing for a set of four that listed for $130. I have seen sellers asking even more than that for them.

If you have any pics, send them to me.
Different knobs and I don't see the US script on the headstock.

Technically, chat gpt said it. Lol

Meanwhile I had multiple people message me that him and another director were block walking and actually talking badly about myself and an HOA member. SMH. It was a mess.
Our Pine Mountain Club HOA BOD elections are coming up. It is real ugly what various factions are saying about one another. Jr. High school type stuff. There are thee positions becoming open. Eight people are running. There is only one person running that I'll vote for. I wish I could cast my six votes (we have two properties) all for him.

Why anyone in their right mind would ever serve on a board like that is beyond me. Life is too short.

Most HOAs that I hear about (and I hear about a good many) are a mess. There are good people involved, but a lot of clueless and/or tyrannical types as well. Some of the worst are absentee board members. (Edit: I was thinking about MUDs for those.)

Not all HOAs are bad, but all are one vote away from tyranny.

Which Doyle?

I haven't had any issues on my iPhone, my iMac, or my Linux desktop. Have you looked in your iphone saved passwords (assuming you use that feature) to verify the login info?
There was something about a move to two factor authentication recently. But I am able to login on iPhone and iPad the same way I always have. My user ID is not my email address and never was.

Our MUD consisted of all appointed members after the old directors all stepped down and nobody ran. Them and the HOA have basically been butting heads for the last almost 3 years, and as a result lots of projects have either been cancelled or scaled back. We went from a brand new HOA paid for and maintained brick fence surrounding the neighborhood to some composite TREX crap now because of them butting heads so much. So I decided to run for it because I know most of the HOA and can actually be willing to work together to compromise and find solutions instead of just "my way or nothing." There was only 4 of us running for 3 spots. The former president lost and I'm thankful for that. Now I already have a Water Board Directors conference to attend in Ft. Worth in June. SMDH

Back home and typing this on my iMac- thank you for the suggestion- I checked my saved login info on my phone and for some reason there were two for Talkbass- same password but one had my email address for user and the other had 'ectoflanger'. Typed in that instead of the default email address suggestion, and it worked-
