Thunderbird Club

Our son-in-law had a 3 3/4 legged dog missing a rear foot (lost it when she sort of caught a car she chased). Jamie normally walked and ran fine, but if she was scolded or otherwise wanted to seem pitiful would start limping. But you could hold food up high and she’d stand up on her one hind foot to beg - I saw her do that for at least ten seconds.
Dogs are alien creatures with the ability to control human minds.

Yeah. They aren’t what I need right now, but once I upped my callous game, I realized their strengths beyond cheese and finger grating!

There was a point in time when all i played were Rotos.
But then came the rust and dying quickly issues.
But the half dead Rotos give me a fresh look at what rounds can bring to the table for my TBird.

Thank you - I very much appreciate your discerning opinion. Here's a few more gilded finishes I've done over the past 12 years with Gildaxe -

gold-leaf -

Gold-leaf over brown-burst factory finish - similar to the Sandberg... but better.

Distressed silver-leaf over black over factory turquoise metallic finish - Chris Kuffner's bass used touring with Ingrid Michelson -

Most recently, an Epi VP with distressed gold-leaf over red-oxide - final finished by Pat Wilkins.

Chris Kuffner playing his Gary Fried custom bass with my lemon gold leaf finish - he played both basses (including the silver-leafed Lakeland above) live and on Ingrid Michelson's YouTube vids.

WRT the distressed gold VP, what final finishing did Pat do?

You did all that; I burned a stump(no, not a euphemism). Still burning today. Stubborn Florida pine.
I rewatched some of the MCU Thor movies and took a bike ride. Played bass Sunday but the third person dropped out at the last minute so it was just Mallory (vocals and acoustic guitar) and me (bass and smart mouth). We did a couple of the songs more laid back because of this.

Moises is fantastic. The software itself is awful, but the technology is really great.

Three things actually... he did a faint trans-tobacco halo, dusted it with fine gold particles and lastly applied a gloss clear-coat. The fine gold particles are from a long discontinued product he had in his stock and saves for my projects only. Years ago I wanted the look of newer urban sidewalks that have mica particles mixed into the concrete so at night street-lights active them making it look 'sparkly'. The particle are very tiny and are only really apparent in certain lighting situations - like daylight, overhead light and stage lighting. It's magical really... and very difficult to photograph.

note: the city is working on my street (for nearly a month now~) and it is screwing up my computer signal -

I think you mean cats...

In some households I’d say, if one has both, then the deviously cute “innocent” cats control the dogs, and then the dogs control the people.

Either way, pet owners are simply people owned by pets…

Or like the old joke - aliens do a recon of earth and report back to the mother-ship; "It appears the life-forms in control on earth are small 4-legged creatures as the upright two-legged creature waits on them hand & foot even to the point of following them around picking up their poop".

oh Lord…..
