Too bad new truck tires are about a grand.

Yah, really clean - there's another one from Japan a bit worse for wear for around $800. You have the faux-leather gig bag too! Alway a bonus!
My '85 Jolana Discobass (Gibson RD clone) came with its original vinyl gig-bag. It opens from the bottom with snaps!

Yes, mine included the gig bag. I'm sure yours is the same in that it offers zero padding?
Ever been to Terlingua? One of my favorite lines. You know I heard it in his voice!
Drive it to the GTG. We’ll send you and Jeff to pick up the sandwich.Maybe I’ll trade the corvette in on a Pacer….
That's my friend Greta Brinkman. I bought it from her a few years after that. She initially lent it to me to check out since she never loved it, but really loved the green Carvin she's known for (you can see it in GHS ads). I really bonded with it and ended up buying it from her. That and the Thunderbird I'll never let go.Who's that on bass?
It was all explained in the notes for the video. Now I need to read the Skydog book!
You are an encyclopedia of southern rock, Donnie.
Well I was there and saw it all firsthand. Played with the Allman Joys then later the One Percent. Got tired of all that craziness and wanted to be boring and live a boring life, which I achieved.
(None of this is true. Other than the boring part.)
Normally I’d encourage someone to pick up a shorty whenever one comes up. Unfortunately, not this one. No mention of a case and that is a problem given how rare these are. Good luck finding a proper case. And for some sad reason the original pickups were swapped out for EMG’s. Everything is crammed into the cavity and the cover doesn’t fit. The original pickups are not included. Hard pass IMO unless someone wants a restoration project. But the ask is twice what would be reasonable for the condition. Sad.

Yeah. I get PM’s all the time from people wanting mine. So the demand is out there for one. That poor thing is chowdered.
just amused because no matter what I tried to get him to get closer for a better pic, he couldn’t keep/catch up.You look concerned!
Keep calm and Thunderbird on!
