Bowie toured Cleveland several times and I saw his 1st American tour. Those were some very good concerts and as you mentioned it was a unique experience!

Wow - that must have been a trip! I only have seen his concert vids but I would guess the very early and later shows would be what I would have liked to see/hear/attend. His over-the-top extragaganza shows were part of what I didn't like about '70s 'arena rock'. His '90s and later down-to-earth work w/this band including Gail Anne Dorsey on bass is overlooked and some of my favorite Bowie.

It was definitely some eye-opening concerts! Alice Cooper (fake) chopping his head off the week before...Iggy Pop and the Stooges singing Raw Power while Iggy jumped off the stage into the crowd and then Bowie with his bright red hair and crooning his Space rock. Great times!
Once the flood gates opened all the bands tried to be more outrageous then the other. The good thing there was still some great music being written and performed under all of those crazy performances.

I’m looking forward to getting to using the BH with the beefed up V2 head.

I’m curious as to how good the BH would sound on its own with the 610HLF. I think the AV version that I have was originally sold with an SVT610AV(HLF) cab, as a unit.

At some point if/when I’m done with the biamping fun with the BH and V2 and two cabs I mentioned earlier, I’ll probably just run the BH with a 610HLF.
With my BH, I've used...
Ampeg 112--didn't care of it. Didn't like it with any head really. Funky midrange and never sounded big.
Fender 115--sounds good (is in my office with the other head), but I like cabs with multiple drivers. Always have.
Ampeg 212AV--Sounded really nice.
Ampeg Heritage 410--Magic!
When I tried it out in the shop it was connected to an old Hartke paper cone 212. I confess, it sounded great. Great enough I could have used it and been super happy.

FYI on the fire. The northern front is about 1 mile from the farm; however, it has been 1 mile since about 7pm PDT. So, looks like the wind is blowing north. Fortunately, it is just grass land so no big fuel sources. The fire started at Lawrence Livermore National Labs. Must have been one of those laser weapons again :wideyed:

Don't like that. Hope all stays well out your way.

Did I mention I store basses and amps for people in danger? Dogs too. My wife would want the cows but we only have 2.5 ac and most of that is woods.
