Thunderbird Club

I find the combination meh though I really like them apart. Sharon loves the flavors together. Reese’s are one of her faves.

Resse's Peanut-Butter Cups is my longest fave since I was in grade-school - still enjoy the occasional indulgence.

A ‘bird of another colour.
Donald Campbell’s CN7 Bluebird. He set the world land speed record in this on Lake Eyre. A large salt lake in South Australia.
I had a model of this car when I was a kid, either Matchbox or Corgi (I think Corgi as it was a bit bigger than usual for Matchbox). Wish I still had it.

It looks pretty slinky -

Stumbled across this video of Tesla covering Aerosmith's S.O.S. (Too Bad). Brian Wheat is playing a NR that kind of looks like the neck pickup is not stock? Could just be my eyes as well.

Pretty sure that's an ESP pickup, it looks like what he uses in most of his Birds.

My wife used to work for a food broker, basically a rep firm taking orders for food and sundries to the military commissaries. One of their lines was Reese's peanut butter cups. So, if they wanted to sell them special holiday versions, they had to show them samples a couple months in advance, which is when the production run actually was. You can't believe the difference in taste and texture of a fresh off the line Reese's vs one that is a few months old. The oil from the peanut butter hasn't soaked into the chocolate, firm chocolate and creamy peanut butter. One time they placed an order for 144 samples and got 144 cases. :hyper:

There's a bunch of small-batch PBC's these days - some locally made. Yah, fresh are way better.

Then there is the great debate...milk chocolate vs dark.

When the whole dark chocolate thing started escalating - I got into it and sought out the highest number I could find. But these days I like Lindt w/a touch of Sea Salt. Don't know the number, a med dark milk chocolate.

Maybe the age is why I never liked them. To me, the chocolate didn't taste like chocolate and the tan matter inside in no way tasted like peanut butter. I'll take a Snickers now, please.
