I’m soon to find out how the Pressure Wounds will hold up.
But until I determine which bass I’ll try them on first is my big question to myself.

Speaking of strings..... None of mine have any adverse effect from you playing them for a week, you're losing your touch! :woot:

Weather was too nice to generate alien sweat.

Seriously, the weather was just about perfect for the GTG, it's been either much cooler and cloudy or hotter.

“Next year dammit, next year!!!”

🤣

Not only was the weather perfect.
It all went so well.
Just a chill time all around.
A third year of camaraderie I’ll never forget. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

I was looking at my Imgur and realized this shot wasn't there.......Forgetful Queen.

what would you call good customer service from a bass string manufacturer ? a free string? set? shoulder to cry on?

New string to replace the one that was clearly out of spec. And, then ask for the old one back so QA/QC can determine why the silk wrap was 2” long. Is the machine automated? If so, do they need to update the PM schedule. Is it manual and need more operator training? Is the inspection not doing their job? I guess 40 years in high tech manufacturing has me programmed to expect some level of taking responsibility.

To not tell a customer with a two week old string that broke due to what had to be a defect that they were SOL. Dunlop, SIT and others would no doubt replace the string, based upon posts here over the years.

unrealistic expectations for non mission critical production….then again, they may have been counterfeit…..

Wish I could have been there! Was so looking forward to being back in Seattle and seeing the gang again. At least I got a chance to jam with Geo. And many thanks to he and Dave (along with any others) that helped put the shirts together for the GTG. I just got mine a few days ago and it’s wonderful as are all the pics from the GTG. Can’t wait until next year, I hope to be there this time.

So, for 2025 are we flocking to Marshall’s mountain retreat (we could split a cord or two of wood for him), or maybe Dave’s Farm (I’m sure he could use some farm hands for a few days), heck if nothing better comes up I might even offer up my house here or where ever I end up by this time next year.
