Yes it is. Thanks to your recommendation I've got two in my pedal board. One acts as a booster in the overdrive loop and the other as a all-round enhancer at the end of the board. It's a great pedal!View attachment 7026537
Other than something like I never need the sound. And I can get close enough on a Thunderbird for my rare needs.
I bet it does!Motivated me to learn it. Nice repeating baseline after the intro. Sounds good with the JC with tone rolled off and through the B-15.
I'm so glad to have one again (after selling two!)
Hear it roar!
I bet someone makes some that change color and intensity like a 60s home stereo light show.I am replacing the bulbs in my B-15 that light up the Lucite logo. The logo plate is supposed to have a green film on the bottom but a previous owner melted it off. So, they now make LEDs in 1847 format in any color you want. Any suggestions?
No need for Marshall to respond as we all know his choice.
That's very... forgettable...little wonder why J&D were swept into the dustbin of pop music history... they were only "hangin' 8 1/2" - at best. The difference between legit music and pulp novelty.
I'd rather hear The Supremes sing a surf song...
Go for the stock look. If I ever get a Prodigy, it’ll have the beautiful blue lighting.I am replacing the bulbs in my B-15 that light up the Lucite logo. Back then it wasn't art - it was show-biz! Only artists like Scott Walker, Bowie, Eno etc moved the bar closer to art.Wow. I like them. They lost it after Jan had his accident, very close to Dead Man’s Curve. Dean went on to have success as an album cover designer.
Never have, only sold a Fenderbird... to Rudolf Rock/SWIK in Hamburg!Repeat after me. Never sell a Thunderbird.
Edit: Except to me.
Sorry, just didn’t like the Pro IV.Repeat after me. Never sell a Thunderbird.
Edit: Except to me. .
Interesting, I’ve only ever sold one thunderbird, and it was to you.Repeat after me. Never sell a Thunderbird.

The recent Epi Pro IV? Closest new bass to a '63-'65 IV in many ways. I guess you wouldn't like a vintage '64-'65 IV...Sorry, just didn’t like the Pro IV.
seems like Thunderbirds like to interpret that one…..would have never guessed yours would be an NR and mine a reverse…..

I would vote with Marshall on this one, were he not disenfranchised.I am replacing the bulbs in my B-15 that light up the Lucite logo.
