Thunderbird Club

Not a Thunderbird but it is a Gibson 😊 I've been eyeing this 1968 EM-150 at The House of Guitars for years but I kept telling myself that I wasn't good enough to get another Gibson mandolin ( I already own a 1916 A-0) I finally succumbed to it's siren call and put it on layaway. It plays beautifully and the mini P90 just sounds amazing!

And that is where arguments begin. It’s a no win problem for us and the bears.
That's when you whip out a copy of the "Origin of Species" (can't use the full title due to it's racist nonsense), and tell the bear you are the smartest and thus the fittest and if he comes back playing nice is off the table.

Sweet looking! I have always wanted an old Gibson F series. But they are $$$$. And I likely can't play one to save my life.

That's very... forgettable...:cautious: little wonder why J&D were swept into the dustbin of pop music history... they were only "hangin' 8 1/2" - at best. The difference between legit music and pulp novelty.

I'd rather hear The Supremes sing a surf song...

Hardly the dustbin. Footnotes, perhaps.

And I will listen to the Supremes sing anything.

I know. They seem very intriguing. I ran across a new one a small online/shop was trying to get rid of years ago but chickened out. I wonder if they sound very different, if not too different. They don't seem to be in demand.
Hollow-body & piezo, most likely sounds upright-y. Better if fret-less.
