Which they steal off of certain bass amps …
Are the bears selling drugs? The stove top knobs of which you speak are $40 a whack.

That's considerate of you Rich, but part of the inside-outside 'on the hr' format is that as one band finishes - the next band starts. So since we follow your (inside) band outside - we'll start as soon as you end.
I'll be using my Ashdown/Ampeg rig as I did the last time we played there (Beaster Sunday 2023), when Kirstin was pregnant with Ada and she was rockin' orange! 
They just hate bass players. No one knows why. Maybe they have us confused with Ted Nugent.

Fog Fest is less a celebration of the fog, instead it's a rejoicing of the end of 'fog-season', which is typically the summer months. So the day may start-off with a bit of off-shore fog, but it quickly dissipates and most usually ends up a very nice 70's degree sunny day. It's why I enjoy playing the outdoor stage because everyone is outside during the weekend festivities and we always have very receptive crowds. People who live in Pacifica are a hardy lot and seriously party-down that weekend. Neighborhood houses all have parties and everyone's in good spirits. Over the years both BG & TSC have played the Sat night of FF (inside) at Winters' and it was always off-the-charts! That was pre-Covid and pre-outdoor stage so it was just exponentially more chaotic. FF Sunday is a bit more low-key, but people from far and wide attend in a celebratory spirit to have one last end-of-summer bash.

I'd side with the bears on that one...
The Epi Zenith that was pictured. This wasn't the pic, however.The model on eBay or Goths? My Gojira is a Goth body that I heavily 'chambered' to make it lighter. It is solid mahogany w/the thin central raised sections added. It's now 9lbs flat so still not super light. It does rock though...

I've been using a DOD bi-fet pre amp since the 80's to give my sound a boost. Is this similar?

The earlier necks were pretty slim, my cherry and honeyburst both have thicker bodies and pretty beefy necks. The Cherry II is my favorite it's beefy neck reminds me of my '68.

I can't recall the words, but I always liked the fight song from the "South Hampton Institute of Technology".
I preferred the flip side: "The Anaheim, Azusa, and Cucamonga Sewing Circle, Book Review, and Timing Association".

Today I sold my Thunderbird.
The look was/is incredible. But I’ve only got so much space for a bass that didn’t fit in the mix as well as my PJ and weighted more than Thor’s hammer. Also, I never felt confident with an Epiphone, which is silly, but it’s there.
One day I’ll but another Thunderbird, maybe a Gibson or an Orville, but only when I can justify it’s space in my purposefully modest collection.
I only want to keep instruments I have an emotional connection to. This instrument made me feel sad because it reminded me of a band I was briefly in but quit because the guitarist was a bigoted and homophobic PIS who wouldn’t shut up about his hate for his fellow humans.
So I’m once again Thunderbird-less. One day I’ll rejoin the club, but for now, my membership is on pause.
