Was going to just send to Geoff, but everyone should enjoy this. My cousin is pushing me to buy a "fun" car from the past. I had a pretty burgundy one of these, but with a 318.

There you go Donnie. You’d have a NY in KY. The 360 has a nice sound from memory. Was going to just send to Geoff, but everyone should enjoy this. My cousin is pushing me to buy a "fun" car from the past. I had a pretty burgundy one of these, but with a 318.

Nice colour, but the paint job is...less than idealhttps://reverb.com/item/84844106-gi...are&utm_campaign=listing&utm_content=84844106
Isn’t this some of y’all’s favorite color?

Well, most mid sized or bigger vehicles would match that description. The house was built in 1949. What car on the road at that time could fit in this garage is beyond me. I mean it might fit, but opening the door to get out of the car might be a challenge. Oh, and don’t store anything in the garage if you even think you might want to try to fit the car in…Definitely wider than your garage.

So it's really thin & translucent? The material was intended for an acoustic guitar.
So when I had it on originally, it was self adhered to the body.
And it looked much more red.
But now i put it over a white pick guard, and that’s really what it looks like.

I measured mine at 51" x 13 1/4". That's gently pushing the tape measure head against the padding. What are the internal measurements? The case that came with my first BaCH appears to be a Yorkville, but it is about three inches longer than their current Thunderbird case. My BaCHs need about 52 inches of total internal length. Unfortunately, The larger cases appear to be discontinued.
Per the current website for the Yorkville Thunderbird bass case:
Internal measurements
Length 50.00 inches (127.00 cm)
Lower Bout 14.50 inches (36.83 cm)
Depth 4.50 inches (11.43 cm)

Yeah it looks like a 70, but someone has changed it to a 3 point.Something isn't right about that bass. Gibson only produced Slothead EB-0's and EB-3's from late '69 late '71, at that time a 3 point bridge had not been invented yet, further no EB-0 was ever fitted with one.

Beautiful! When in HS I worked maintenance for a guy (who owned several apartment buildings) who had a silver '76. When of age, I got to drive it a good bit. Not as good looking as your Dad's.View attachment 7039800

Compared to the 400 in the '76 Cordoba, yes! It was not draggy or as bad as you would think. It was fine for what it was and I never complained. Got decent MPG. I also had the Dodge version (St. Regis) with a 318. Best car I ever owned in terms of service. Literally could not make that car run bad. I swapped carbs from a '80 Cordoba that didn't run well and put the shaky carb on the Dodge and the good one on the Cordoba. Fixed the Cordoba and the Dodge didn't care one bit. Only problem I had with the car was the hood latch gave way while on the expressway. Driving 60 and all of the sudden trying to see out the little crack of light at the base of the windshield was something new. To make matters worse it scared my wife. When she jumped she slung juice right in my face. between trying to see through the small opening with juice running down my face and in my eyes was an experience. Got a used hood from a junk yard (same color) and it was good to go again. Even got a $119 Macco paint job and drove it till 140k.My last post was in reply to this one:
A 318 might be a bit underpowered for such a big car?
I'm holding out for a '76-78 Cordoba, preferably a '76.There you go Donnie. You’d have a NY in KY. The 360 has a nice sound from memory.
The hidden headlights look cool. That is something that has disappeared. They make them in all sorts of shapes, sizes and positions these days with LEDs.
