I expect it will be very well packed in its gig bag. That bass doesn’t have a case listed. On the other hand, FedEx and UPS have to keep the margins up.

Some pretty famous artists preceded you there. Very cool Ken. Let us know when it’s available to buy.
I guess I kinda slept on this, but this has got to be the best "MkII"-style classic Purple since Who Do You Think We Are

Too many doors. Was going to just send to Geoff, but everyone should enjoy this. My cousin is pushing me to buy a "fun" car from the past. I had a pretty burgundy one of these, but with a 318.

I think dingwall calls it hybrid manufacturing on their website. It’s definitely a step up from fender or Gibsons import linesIIRC - the Standard line of DBirds was built in China and the Custom line of DRocs were built in Canada.
Dingwall didn’t go the Squier/Fender or Epiphone/Gibson route to differentiate the origin of the bass, they just call one a Standard and the other a Custom. At least I think that’s how it works, I’m not an expert on their brand.
Yes, yes, and yes.Yeah if you're going to refinish an old Gibson, at least do it properly.
Wow! Y'all were killing it!

I always bring two basses. If there's a lot of room I bring three! I also bring a spare amp.Considered using my recently acquired Dano Long-horn on Sunday at Winters' but my Teiscobird has a drop-D for "Heroes", our next to last song. It also consitantly sounds awesome (rehearsal, recording, live) and besides it's been my go-to TSC bass for years. I never bring two basses - that's a guitarist thing. The Dano will get some love for a future TSC gig.

Out of all the air-cooled VW kit cars that look like GT40s, that is the nicest design. I've seen some pretty janky kit cars on the road.No KG looks as sexy as the Avenger!
Sweet! Looking forward to checking it out.
I have brought a spare amp. I've had one fail mid-set in the past. Never had an issue bass-wise and one more bass is just one more thing to schlep and keep an eye on. Plus, our sets are usually 45min, on & off the stage ASAP.I always bring two basses. If there's a lot of room I bring three! I also bring a spare amp.
I broke a G string once, and once had a wiring fail (stray bit of shielding). My MB200 weighs 2.2 pounds and fits in the pocket of a gigbag.I have brought a spare amp. I know it happens but I've never broke a string playing. I just don't play that aggressively. With 8 bands over the day tomorrow on the hr starting at noon - there will be no lack of available equipment if an emergency occurs.I broke a G string once, and once had a wiring fail (stray bit of shielding). Sometimes the spare bass is a FSO in a gig bag crammed in the corner.
I get it - different circumstances.I always bring bring two basses as well, having broken E's, A's etc. multiple times onstage in front of a lot of people - I can say for certain nobody want to watch a string change. One bass = none, 2 basses = one.
